- The Sage of Six Paths used to be a jinchuriki of the Jiuubi, he had two sons while he was a jinchuriki and his first sons genetics got influenced by the cursed chakra of the Jiuubi and proof of this lies in the fact that Naruto had the whisker marks on his face when he was born and his mother was a Jinchuriki and further proof of this lies in the fact that Naruto's whiskers become thicker as he use more of the Kyuubi's chakra meaning that a bijuu can affect the jinchurikis genetics and that's the theory in a nutshell.

Naruto is the child of the prophecy who was said to be destined to bring either eternal damnation or everlasting peace and being the main character he will bring everlasting peace. In the real world, we all know that there is no such thing as everlasting peace and in the series if this would happen, it would be kinda ridiculous but Kishimoto has throughout his series created a series of events that are inter-connected and would eventually unfold to bring the true enemy.
Naruto's resolve to never give up and his ideology has never worked to persuade the Uchihas of the story. One of the things that drives Naruto is to bring back Sasuke from his darkness and in doing so would go further untill he got to where he is now, facing the source of hatred and darkness, the true villian of the story, the Jiuubi.
