It can be assumed that Itachi awakened/Discovered a way to awaken all 3 Sharingan elements in one day. Where as Mastery came over the years of having them according to this (if am correct). Not sure if you knew :ice:

However, due to plot holes in the manga, Hiruzen could not have been 19 when he was made Hokage. Why? Because Tsunade was at least 3 when she was shown here, and the Shodai Hokage was still alive, and Hiruzen is 18 years older than Tsunade, making him 21 at this time while Hashirama was still Hokage:

This is a wank thread im not in that mind frame right now but also im certain shodai was dead and its Tobirama who was the second hokage when he gave sarutobi to become the third.

What baffles me is that Hashirama from being edo, we can see that he died rather young. He looks like somebody in his 30's. In that case how the hell did he become a grandfather when he was alive xd

Well, this IS an anime. People normally look either young or old, I've noticed. He might've died at 45 or something - after all, Shikaku was 38 in season one, so he must've been around 22 when Shikamaru was born. If Shikamaru gets busy with someone soon, Shikaku would've been a grandfather before he reached 50.

Just saying. Though Hashirama doesn't look like he's 50 but you get my point.

Can't we just blame it on the Senju DNA giving him a youthful appearance? And then have a scene of Guy trying to grab some of it.

Seriously though, he can't biologically be a grandfather at 21...can he? On second thought, please don't answer that. Who knows, maybe Orochimaru has modified his body, like he did with Madara.

Actually it struck me, the only possible way and this way still has holes in it.
Maybe like Tsunade he can keep his youthful appearance. But as i said it has holes in it, because even so he would be brought back looking old and might change his appearance when he likes. Anyway who knows
