First of all here is a link to the most recent gameplay:
First, I noticed that either the awakening has been given less time, or supports take longer to come back.
When Yugito uses her Awakening Sasuke uses Juugo more or less right off the bat to stop the innevitable Tailed Beast Bomb. Now I noticed that just as Juugo came back, the awakening was finished.
Either the duration of Awakenings has been shortened due to immense power boosts and the advantage it can give a player in the game. Or supports take longer to regen to counter people who spammed Hidan, Kid Tenten and Oonoki. This is given some credibility due to the fact that the "Team Taka" bonus would be applied giving Sasuke and co a boost to the Support Drive and the overall speed of the Supports. What do you guys think?
Second, is it me or have awakenings been given more power again, like in Storm 2? Watching the other gameplay involving the Jinchuuriki, whichever one went into awakening first seemed to dominate the match entirely. The usage of the Jinchuriki Awakening appeared to almost wipe out the others health BARS (both of them) in just a few hits.
It was my understanding that they weakened the awakenings in Generations because of that very reason. I know you can grab and even Ultimate them but still, in the heat of a fight, when you're opponent gets even a second to awaken can mean total annihilation for you, especially if you're not careful. What do you guys think this means for the Online Gameplay, especially with spammers becoming more and more frequent?
Finally, who else thinks that Sasuke looks to have one of the best, and most destructive Ultimate yet?
That one swipe from the Susano'o was big enough to cause that big of an explosion. And right at the end as his finishing move you can see his awakening jutsu is "Inferno Style: Yasaka Magatama" the very Jutsu Itachi was shown in the manga and refered to it as "His strongest long-range jutsu". I simply can't wait until March 8th when I can get straight back into the boss fights and the "Mob Mode".
When this game comes out I might think about making a "NarutoBase Tournament". Do you guys think you could join a few tournaments, or has this been done before?
