Honestly, the last chapter really bummed me out. i thought it was really bad. the whole "uchiha's love too much" was terrible plot wise. I mean seriously, obito and madara are doing what they do because they love too much? love too much??

if you look back at the series story, everything always ends with the happiest (no matter how absurd) ending. Its like damn ninja care bears.

1. Everyone killed by Pain got revived
2. Villans "love too much"
3. Most characters got revived for the war and kept their personalities so they can provide closure.
4. itachi's actions were ultimately for good intentions. he even joined akatsuki to be a spy.
5. How many main characters have died in this war, ONE? Neji?

I really wish this story was more grown up and wasn't so afraid to tackle the bad stuff. take shows like the walking dead for example. they kill of major characters almost every episode and its still one of the most successful tv shows right now.

Don't you think the stronger the love for a person, the more devistated the person would be??

If you see this as a reason to say Kishi is a tree hugger, you clearly have a bad understanding of what love and the loss of loved ones can do to people, and even worse what the people who lose loved one(s) are capable of.... Kishi is writing a deep story full of interesting twists. When you dislike it so much, why do you bother reading it?

Isn't this a forum where we can voice our opinions on the show, be it positive thoughts or maybe what we think could be improved? This is why I joined NB in the first place. People need to stop acting like all we're allowed to say about Kishi and his manga are positive things.

I'm not saying that people should go all out bashing his work (that IS pointless on a Naruto forum), but what's wrong with just saying what you find slightly bad about the story? After all, every story has its pros and cons. There are times when those who say "stop complaining!" or "stop reading the manga then!" can actually be worse than those who do the complaining in the first place.

I can understand your point but this can´t really be helped. Since the beginning, almost everything has spinned around the theme of love.

It does offer some great twists, in my opinion. But I still respect your idea.

As you point out it has always been this way and is not going to change. If you want less lovey-dovey stuff and more grit and hardcore violence then Naruto is not the manga for you.

Everyone has a right to voice their opinion. But there is a difference between constructive criticism and criticism that has little value. The op is essentially complaining about an aspect of the manga that has existed since chapter 1. The op might as well complain about Naruto's blonde hair. Where is the value in that?

I am sorry, but most of the people who posted here are fanboys. I am not just randomly hating on Kishi. Im providing a criticism that I feel is a valid one. This story revolves around a world about ninjas. death, hardships, and sacrifice are things that inevitably come with it. I am simply stating that it would be nice if the story was more realistic and played more to the hardships of being a ninja, rather than everything working out fine.

And yes, love is a driving factor in life, but it is no where near the only one. People are also driven by envy, greed, jealousy, and sometimes even pure malice. Frankly, I feel like Kishi is doing to ninjas what Twilight did to vampires and werewolves.
