Sasuke is neither good nor bad... he does what is logical to him according to what he lived and experienced. He looks bad in the eyes of shinobi who accept all the rules imposed of them, some of which are not really those of "good people".

Because if Sasuke is considered bad, we should also consider the second and third to be bad: they just had political power to create an excuse to erradicate a clan. Why turn them into the police force, instead of making them be any other thing where they DID NOT have to use their powers?

Sasukes character will now inexorably turn to sht whatever resolve he decides in the end because of the farce that has been revealed as the "curse" of the Uchiha clan. I know this is a shonen manga aimed at young/teenage males but this chapter felt like reading something out of a childrens fairy tale.

If Sasuke continues with his current resolve, fights Naruto and is (inevitably) redeemed, its obvious how it will turn out now, Im calling it: Naruto (and others) will be the new "love" and his bond with Naruto will be the feelings bs Tobirama was on about. If he has a change of heart right now (somewhat unlikely but hey this is Kishimoto, the number 1 asspuller mangaka) it will probably also be because of some retarded sht like realizing the Uchiha were all about love all along etc.

Sasuke is going to be a joke of an anti-hero in the end of this manga if he is redeemed (which is almost a given given the themes/plot of the manga).

I think the way things are going makes you mad because you want Sasuke to be this evil killing machine with a true motive...

This "anger fueled by love" is a way better turn in the story than where it was going...I really think Kishi looks at these forums, because if he has seen what I have seen in this past few weeks, he would say you mutha****as don't get the point at all...

Naruto has always been about friendship and family...hell most of the more popular manga's are...at the end of the day, Sasuke fell right into character with this, but in his own way...

Think about everyone he has killed...each one of them has ACTUALLY been for the GOOD of Konoha...Deidara was a villian, Itachi was a traitor (not really, but his death would bring closure to the Uchiha massacre), Orochimaru tried to destroy Konoha (brought him back, but I bet you he kills him again), Kabuto (with Itachi) was fighting everyone with Edos and they stopped it, and Danzo was power hungry, backstabbing cancer...

If you want a real life visually of Sasuke...If Naruto is John Cena, Sasuke is Stone Cold...he his a great anti-hero...but hate won't win this war...

Someone made a post last week about how the manga has turned to sht and instead of the normal posters who were like then don't read it blah blah, I semi-agreed with him and I definitely am going to take the same stance with you.

First and foremost as Crimson Trickster said the curse wasn't introduced in this chapter and I just want to add unto this. Since the beginning of Naruto has this "undefined" curse been going on. Everytime Naruto and Sasuke fought, Sasuke would always say that Naruto did not know what it was like to lose "those bonds/feelings/relationships (love)."
This chapter showed us how an Uchiha was able to have a Hokage agree to his counter-demands and how his (Itachi's) reasoning was that of a Hokage at a young age. Obito who probably had more "Will of Fire" and/or Naruto qualities pre-death/Madara then any other character ever was still the same Obito until he saw the one he loved killed. Which leads me to my semi-agreeing with you.

Semi because I think (and I think as past chapters have kind of hinted at...) Kishi has now destroyed AKA changed the guidelines to all that was great and untouched (as with the DDCS) but for the sake of going on forever...the
anti-hero is and always was FOR THE MOST PART, the Uchiha Clan, but I don't think it will end up being Sasuke, rather Obito who as I stated above (recent chapters) sick of Madara and will end up being the real anti-hero. Sasuke will, as usual, just go do whatever he is feeling strongest with at the moment which without going into millions of details, end up fighting Naruto as he has always wanted to REALLY fight him and will end up dying in an epic battle.

P.S. - Adding in Eugenics....worst Kishi move ever.

Sasuke's character was already ruined since Kishi decided to let him act 'badass'.... Sasuke isn't the type for acting like a boss. Kishi made a mistake in that. Sasuke was cool in part 1, but part 2 it went downhill fast!

It's still about power. The only way the Uchiha can gain more power is by losing a loved one and that's why they are cursed.

The Uchiha have lived under the "Cure of Hatred" since the Sage's sons. It was just in the latest chapter that what this cures was explained. We all though that the curse was just hatred from losing something dear too them, but it was driven by love from another person. This is also the source of the Uchiha's power and we have seen that in Madara,Obito,Sasuke and Itachi.

This is why I have always been a Sasuke fan, he acted out of love, which I have said a billion times to my friends but no one wanna listen... I don't think his character is ruined, I actually think that his character has been a secret all along and now he is shown!

They create strong bonds of love with friends and family and when that bond is severed they become corrupted with evil intent and hatred... nd this change allows a special chakra to be released from their brains to the visual art of their brains unlocking greater power and strength (ms)

This is why in order to gain MS they'd have to kill their best friends... They would have to sever a bond with Simone they love.. or lose someone they loved.. think of the love sasuke had for itachi, obito had for rin, itachis brother like friendship with shisui and when itachi, rin and shisui died that love turned into hate and conquest for power sasuke, obito and itachi

sasuke lost itachi and wanted to get stronger to destroy the leaf higher ups.. think also of how emotional he was when before he found out about the conspiracy how bent he was on getting strong to kill itachi for the love of his clan..

obito loved rin so much that when he lost her you saw the rampage he had.. most bloodiest manga page ever.. and he was bent in destroying the ninja world and changing it to how he saw fit.. he waged war with the ninja world..

itachi lost shisui and was bent on destroying his own clan.. of course it was also part of his mission bit seeing how he wasnt to fond of his clan in the first place made that mission a lil easier to do..
