Who was lying: obito or itachi

I've noticed that itachi and obito's stories aren't the same.
Here's itachi's story:
itachi said that madara took izuna's eyes forcefully

im not sure about the Izuna part. good observation there. Obito is prob lying... Madara took is eyes by force ? if that is the case. The one who know everything is Izuna for sure, would be a great plot twist

Lie is a little too much. I believe both of their sides are somewhat true but were learned from outside forces...Thats why Sasuke is searching for the one who knows it all, for true and accurate answers.

I think Itachi didn't know the details of Izuna's Eye removal and Obito's existence and thought that he was Madara.

And I think that the Tobirama thing is a slight mistranslation, he made the Uchiha the new police force so technically he didn't form the Military police force he just gave the job to the Uchiha to do so.

Talk abut the blind leading the blind... it depends on who knew the truth and with so many lies it's hard to say what really happened. At one point it's obvious everyone lied about something. I would say Itachi because he either knew less or knew too much and chose to lie.

Obito and Itachi are both liars but both lied for different reasons. Itachi did it so that his brother would be an avenger. Obito did it so that he could control sasuke and make him the next sage.

When Itachi told him about the police force he had no reason to lie. So... true?

Eyes are a matter only Madara to clear up but I would say that his clan turned him away for a reason.
