Who was lying: obito or itachi

Obito and Itachi are both liars but both lied for different reasons. Itachi did it so that his brother would be an avenger. Obito did it so that he could control sasuke and make him the next sage.

When Itachi told him about the police force he had no reason to lie. So... true?

Eyes are a matter only Madara to clear up but I would say that his clan turned him away for a reason.

I think Itachi didn't know the details of Izuna's Eye removal and Obito's existence and thought that he was Madara.

And I think that the Tobirama thing is a slight mistranslation, he made the Uchiha the new police force so technically he didn't form the Military police force he just gave the job to the Uchiha to do so.

i think itachi read that story with his ms on the tablet, he wanted sasuke to have an ms when he fought him, and sasuke only knew about him how to control the kyuubi cause he read it with a sharingan

and tobirama and a uchiha ancestor both could have created the police force, but obito makes it seem that tobirama did it to keep an eye on the uchiha
while itachi said that the symbol was a mark of their honorable clan

I think both are telling the truth about some things, and lying about other things. Imo the reason kishi made more than 1 character tell the story was to add different points of view and make the reader decide what really took place based on the events we've seen

Tobirama allowed Uchiha guy to set up police force.
