I watched the movie Ted for the 1st time last night. A few friends told me I would like this movie, I didn't really believe them, a story about a guy & his talking teddy bear just sounded stupid to me, honestly I was just gonna wait for it to come out on cable. As it turns out I couldn't have been more wrong!
It was a moving story about friendship & love, one that any boy would instantly relate to. It focuses on the struggle of managing a romantic relationship while at the same time maintaining friendships, & the reluctance that every boy has in letting go of their childhood. Somehow through movie magic, they make it possible for you to suspend disbelief about the scenario of a talking living teddybear.
I usually only laugh at movies when I'm with a bunch of friends &/or very high, but I swear, I lol'd through the entire movie, so much that my sides hurt. Let's keep in mind, I have a very immature sense of humor. Then at the end I found the story so moving, & I really wasn't prepared for this...I cried...please don't tell anyone I said this.
It's rated R, so I guess it's not for the little kids, but I'd recommend it to anyone who likes Family Guy type jokes, & I think guys would especially relate to this story.
Anyway, I give this film 2 wangs up ^_^
