[Debate] Japanese manga/anime more creative than westerns'?

Anyone thinks im wrong? Japanese produce more creative and entertaining manga/anime compared to their counterpart in western. Not that im condemning anyone, only in my perspective of choice of reading.

I dont think you can make a generalized assumption like that. People just have different ideas for stories than others. Plus, the artwork is also a key factor in something as diverse as comics. I love the story of Naruto for example, but I am equally drawn to it because of the artistic style to the entire series. I doubt I would have been as into Naruto if for example the series was drawn in the style of Marvel comics.

I think that's just a dumb assumption on your part to be honest, chances are you haven't even read enough western graphic novels/comics to even be comparing the two in a fair manner.

well my only problem with most western comics is that there isnt enough movement in the drawings which a good manga can do like western comics just feel so static to me and i know im reading a comic with them but with manga like naruto and one piece there is so much energy in the artwork that i get lost in them and they actually seem like they move kinda like watching anime but not its kinda weird also manga does have so much emotion in the drawings also buying a manga volume is a lot better than buying a comic there is more content

yes, these mangas are using many type of history and many mythologies mixed up, i think thats one of the reasons im watching and even liking naruto.
