A Day in Konoha
There really is no way to fully describe a day in the lower part of what is considered Konoha. Even before sunlight peaks from the horizon there are individuals eager to welcome the day. Some families rise even earlier in the morning to gather their items to sell in hopes of making a beneficial profit out in the market. Others are ready to begin another day of work or to finish off from the day before. Then there are the novice shinobi craving for the opportunity to train once the village's gates are open. Slowly but surely the whole town stirs awake from its peaceful slumber. The Ichiraku ramen place is kindled with joyous chatter from hungry customers looking for a hearty breakfast. Outside of Konoha, fishermen set out on their boats searching and hoping for a plentiful catch. Traders slowly stream in from the outside to visit the village's famous supermarket. To walk through this market is a sublime experience to those that are strangers to this area. There are very few items that cannot be found within this trade. On one corner there might be smoked goose being cooked and shared as a small sample. Turn that corner then there could be a hex witch selling some of her potent charms. On the next stop there could a crafty jester trying to entertain the masses with his juggling.Variety is the very definition of this market. The town is a living being with its own development, feelings, and peculiarity. As well as having its own judgements and shortcomings. That was the village that I cared for and what I believed to be an extraordinary gift from our ancestors. I, however, finally decided to make my appearance out of the darkness of my room by early afternoon to enjoy the rest of my day.
