Zuarugh the Sword Chapter 1

*This story takes place a long time ago. When everybody still wore sandals instead of shoes. So, you probably know how long ago it was. Anyway, Quin is in his Grandpa's house. Quin is eight years old and was adopted by his Grandpa. So, Quin doesn't have parents, but he is learning to become a master swordsman. His Grandpa's name is Sirng. So, um... just read*

"This story was told by many old men like me. We're old and fat, and...you get the point. This story was told by old men. Ancient men in fact. The were part of this story...Like me.The point is, this story is ancient. One day, th..."
"Grandpa, i'm hungry! Can we get something to eat?" Quin asked.
"Would you wait until i'm finished! Oh, great, now I forgot what the story was about!" Sirng said.
"Stop lying Grandpa. I know you just make them up."
"Oh, go ahead. You go and make up a story. I bet you'll be good at it. You can barely even slice through a tree with your sword. Have you ever seen yourself swing a sword? It's hilarious!"
"How about you, Grandpa? I never saw you even hold a sword. I'm still learning to use a sword. It's not my fault."
Sirng's happy face faded, "I never held a sword because I don't want to hold a sword. Let's just eat something."
"What will we eat? I'm starving."
"Let me go into town to get something. You wait at home," Sirng said. Sirng left the house.

A few minutes later, Quin goes to his room.
"I can't swing a sword, huh? I haven't seen you. Why don't you try?" Quin said, furious. Quin took his best sword from under his bed. He unsheathed the sword and ran out of the house to the practice grounds. Quin practiced hitting dummies. He kept practicing until he sliced all the dummies into pieces.
"So, that's where you are," Sirng said, coming out of the forest on the right.
"How did you know I was here?" Quin said, kicking the remaining pieces of the dummies.
"You always go here when you are mad. What's wrong?"
"It's nothing. How long have I been training?"
"A year. You never even drank or ate. You sure do train hard."
"Stop lying! I know I haven't even been here a full day!" Quin yelled.
"Ok, ok, maybe one or two hours. Come one, we should go home," Sirng said, walking away.
"What did you get for us to eat?"
"Oh, um... I was kind of hungry... and I forgot that you wanted to eat...so, um... I ate everything."
"You what! I was the one starving! I tried my best to train instead of thinking of eating, but I was hungry, and you ate my food! I bet you weren't even hungry!
