[Question] Zoro's eye

he took the monkey kings eye......which was like mihawks....hawk eye!!!!! so he is now 1 hawkeye zoro

What if he does it to be able to use better CoO since he is lacking in it? You know, reduce the vision, enhance another sense.

And if he really wants to go all out open it and maximize his destructive power together with CoA.

He received the scar off-screen during his 2 years training with Mihawk. It's not known exactly when, how and by whom and the reason he keeps that eye closed is because it got probably damaged when he got the scar.

Though I have been theorizing since the time-skip that he is intentionally keeping his eye closed to keep his power at bay and that at some point opens it when he needs to release his full strength against a powerful opponent. But that's just me wishful thinking so until that would happen, it's just something to make him look badass

Dude some many people have said that same prediction that I'm starting to feel its gonna come true. Oda will not show his eye until he finds an opponent worthy enough ....cough..cough...fujitora

I doubt Oda did it for aesthetic purposes.

OT: He probably made a deal with Mihawk of some sort because I can't see a baboon leaving a permanent scar on his eye.
