Well that depends. In the place we are now in the story yeah, in the begging of the series not that much. As I said, Kuina's death served as a motivation for Zoro's development, it was a necessary casualty for the plot.True but don't you think falling down the stairs is pretty weird for a death; especially in a universe like One Piece.
I too agree that many deaths can be doubtful and mysterious but seeing her dead body pretty much seals the deal.
I can't understand why would her father get in such trouble to conceal the truth from Zoro. At that point Zoro didn't have any importance as a character.
Not to mention that if Tashigi was Kuina she would remember or show signs of recognition the first time she met Zoro.
