[Theory] Zoro vs. Mihawk will not happen...

So I was sitting here thinking about who will be the final villain's in One Piece. And the fact of the matter is we all in a way are leaning toward the Blackbear Pirates. So if that where to be the case Zoros final fight will be with Shiliew of the Rain. Meaning he would have to have defeated Mihawk already by then. Which doesn't make sense to me since Mihawk is supposed to be Zoros last stop to the top. I also find it weird now that Zoro has trained under Mihawk and in a way I think of Mihawk as almost his master. They have a bond now that I dont think will allow them to fight to the death.

That's where my theory comes into play. We know that the Blackbeard is devil fruit hunting and is looking for the most powerful of devil fruits. So I believe that BBP are going to go after many of the old WBP devil fruit killing many of them. And in doing so Shiliew will end up with "Diamond" Jozu devil fruit.

After this and the Government noticing just how even more Powerful the BBP have become they will send some of the Shichibukai to try and stop them. And in that case they send Mihawk who will fall in battle to Shiliew and his diamond ability along with help from other BB crew members. He will also take Sekai Saikyō no Kenshi as his prize along with title of strongest swordsman.

Once Zoro finds out that Mihawk is dead and Shiliew has Sekai Saikyō no Kenshi it will set up for an amazing last battle. It has all the building to be the most epic Sword battle. Zoro fulfilling his goal of becoming the greatest swordsman along with getting revenge for his fallen master Mihawk and recovering Sekai Saikyō no Kenshi. He will also have finally cut through Diamond like it has been foreshadowed for a while now.

Just a theory of mine tell me what you all think about it thanks.

tbh I think Vista is a better candidate to fight the swordsmen of the BB pirates. I still think that Zoro is going to fight and defeat Mihawk, if there is no fight it would be pretty redundant of him saying "I'll surpass/defeat that man one day".

It would have been redundant before the time skip but since then I dont think he has said one thing about Mihawk I could be wrong though. Vista is a great choice and swordsmen but having him win or lose to Shiliew doesn't really change or progress the character development of any of the STP.

He did say it during the fight between the SH and the kraken. Well im sure the WB pirates have a grudge against the BB pirates. It would be better if we saw Vista take down shiliew for to avenge WB's death and maybe Marco can fight BB himself. imo Akainu would be better as the final villain cause Im sure luffy wants to kick his ass for killing ace. WB pirates should take down the BB pirates and the SH pirates should take down the government in general. btw what do u mean by STP? :S

Yeah you could be right. I mean they can fight and beat the BBP first then take on the government after that. Which if that where to happen Mihawk could be the final battle for Zoro. But that's if I wasn't assuming the BBP to be the final villains. But it makes sense that way as well because like you said Luffy needs to beat Akainu down lol. Well yeah at least you even considered that possibility, who knows I can't say if you're right or wrong. It's still too early to tell. At least we're having a nice discussion so its all good

Well I said he would have the diamond ability along with becoming stronger due to time skip. On top of that I said that other BB crew members might interfere causing him to fall. So yeah with all that against him he could fall to an ex-warden in my opinion.

This theory sounds really good, I actually like the idea of the Blackbeard pirates being able to dominate all of the Yonko's eventually (1 on 1 of course) and Teach seems like the type who'll probably make it to the top only to be beat by Luffy, if done right the Strawhats vs The Blackbeard pirates could be awesome.

I'm guessing that sometime in the future The Blackbeard pirates will clash with The Red hair pirates maybe Mihawk will help Shanks seeing as their friends anyway I think The Blackbeard pirates will win of course I don't want Shanks or Mihawk to die but I didn't want Ace to die either some characters have to die to build on others e.g Luffy, Zoro etc.

When you think about it makes sense that Mihawk will die as I'm sure over the two years Zoro trained under him they must have formed a bond in someway it's probably why Oda hasn't done any flashbacks yet and for Zoro to kill Mihawk I don't see that happening, also the Shiliew idea sounds perfect.

Personally I think the Blackbeard pirates will be the second last enemies and the final arc will be the promised war after Luffy becomes Pirate king where The Strawhats will most likely fight the marines and the world government.

-Luffy vs. Akainu
-Zoro vs. either Kizaru or the Ghandi huy frothe Gororsei
-Sanji vs. either an Admiral or the tall guy from the Gorosei
-Dragon vs. Kong
-Kidd vs. someone from the Gorosei
-Law vs. someone from the Gororsei
