Wow so enel knocks zoro unconscious and rob lucci hits zoro so hard that his eyes white out while spitting out blood throwing him out of a building isn't a lose and it is reaching to consider that a lose but if an already injured sanji leg bone is cracked in a fight and he continues to fight without receiving a hit it is considered losing and if he takes a beating because he isn't fighting back that is a lose man I can't keep up with this stuff it makes no sense and is very inconsistent smh.

I agree that Zoro is at his best during his intense battles, but when you look at his timeskip it makes sense why Oda decided to portray him this way. He trained with a top tier and currently he was just showing just how important the top tier training was to Zoro and it was important for that to be showcased by showing the drastical difference he possess to regular underlings outside of yonko's seconds. It wouldn't have made sense otherwise. I'm pretty certain we'd see that old Zoro again by the time he'd finally get to fight someone on his level or above like the yonko seconds

There is, because you cant use the promise excuse for him not losing post skip, when the promise was made back in East blue and he was already losing fights after that. Therefore something else changed post skip, the promise can't be the deciding factor.
