Lets have a serious discussion, why are zombies so appealing to everyone? What is it about a post apocalyptic world that has us so enthralled?

I don't like it either, but its interesting because i guess many people are bored with their lives and wish to have some adventure and to test their skills of surviving and soloing zombies.

Yeah it's really silly, I've had people tell me they wish it would happen.

Really all you would thinking about if it did happen, was how the world use to be and the hell your in now.

Idk man I just do.. I love the games (L4d, Dead Rising, The last of us, Etc.), the movies (Dawn of the dead, WWZ, etc) and the show The Walking Dead.. not that I'd ever want it to happen but I've imagined scenarios where a zombie apocalypse happens. Lol

I wouldn't want it to happen ofc, but it's still kind of interesting to think about how things would turn out if a zombie apocalypse did happen, like what course of action I would take if it broke out and shiz. I discuss it with my friends every once and a while.

Because it adds excitement to everyday life. Its a fantasy. I don't particularly know why Zombies in particular have become the automatic apocalyptic situation, but I can see the merits. Behind the obvious, a Zombie apocalypse is a form of release for many people. Its an excuse to be your own person without judgement. In many ways, the idea of a Zombie apocalypse would bring people together in ways that others have failed in. Its about the excitement, the adventure, the bond that friends have. Obviously, if a Zombie apocalypse happened people would be wishing for things to be back to the way they were within a month of so. But the idea behind the fantasy is just to have fun.
