I'm bored so i thought i just make a thread. My question to you is. If we had a world wide zombie outbreak what 3 things you must have and where/what is you ideal safe house?

Assuming Zombies can't swim. Although even if they could, they wouldn't have the muscle strength to climb the inverted sides of the hull, and even IF they COULD, it would be easy as hell to defend, as that's what it's built to do.

Hypothetically, what if the ship did get over run what would you do then?

Probably board (or seal) myself in one of the holds. I would keep the ship close enough to port so as to make occasional trips into cities for supplies, so hopefully i could find a port hole to escape out of. I would have to swim to shore, but with a life vest even a long swim wouldn't be so taxing, plus my leather armor would not by heavy and a katana doesn't jam when wet and doesn't require extra lbs of ammunition to be carried or left behind.

If escaping isn't an option, the ports and hallways of a ship of that size are small enough that realistically only about 1 or 2 zombies could engage me at a time, which is no problem with a close-quarters weapon like a katana, so hypothetically if i had a few days (those ships are massive) i could clear it myself. Although i'd be scared shitless to sleep on board after that. But in all seriousness, as long as we closed the outside hatches at night while we sleep, the entire ship would be secured even if it were boarded.

Well that depends if they're ZOMBIES as in rotting flesh back from the dead decrepit decomposing slobs of waste

or

zombies as in chemically created cannibals

for the first option, who cares you can push them and break em off at the ankles.

For the second one a tank(any heavy machinery bulldozer modified to a tank would work as well) I never understood why the cast in zombie stories never just ran down most of the zombies? 5,000 gallons of gas(at a minimum) and Swords lots and lots of blades. Hideout would be a Walmart, they got food and guns and ammo and all the necessities, see people thought Walmart was bad they were just preparing us for a zombie apocalypse.

2. They do not have enough muscle strength to do any real injury to you. A 10 year old can incapacitate a zombie.

I was in winter attire on account of the fact that zombies, because they are dead and no longer have the ability of homeostasis, will freeze from the sheer cold and will not do harm.

That and Canada is home to some fierce bears and moose
