SAN DIEGO, CA -- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) ran anti-terror drills in which civilians dressed as zombies were gunned down indiscriminately by soldiers and police. Detailed makeup was used as well as pyrotechnics. This exercise was coordinated by the HALO Corporation.

Here's the video of it:

I personally think this is basically the same as teaching soldiers to use drones; Making a game of killing civilians.

All I can say is mind your own business, don't be uptight, find a sense of humor, and realize that there are narcotics out there that will do this sort of thing to people.

That may look like a bunch of soldiers just carelessly killing unarmed civilians, but you fail to see the danger of a large, disorderly, crowd of people who have lost their minds and are focused on one thing: taking down anyone in their way. In this day and age, it is entirely possible for a new disease to be created to which there is no immediate cure and has high fatality rates. Should that occur and people have to be quarantined, and they decide out of desperation to try to enter the general population, it would now be a deadly force situation and that may be what is necessary to protect the healthy.

Do I see the potential problems with this sort of training? Heck yeah, but it's not training against healthy, unarmed civilians who are rioting. I think back to the many other countries who have committed mass genocide of their own people for less. This was mostly an awareness campaign that allowed some of our military and civilian counterparts to have some fun and act out the current phenomenon: "The Zombie Apocalypse." Until you have dealt with someone who is high off of PCP, LSD, or other hard narcotics, you may never know just how dangerous an "unarmed" person can be.

Btw, I'm just putting things into my perspective. I seriously think you need to lighten up and drop your grudge against the United States. It just irritates me when people discriminate against an entire country, nation, or people group for something so... simple. And yes, I do realize U.S. citizens often do the same, and I think everyone should really be more concerned about their own domestic problems, but I am just one man and my opinion is... mine.

You need to look at the bigger picture..but I won't go any further into that. I don't hold a grudge to the usa 0_0 But I can imagine people think that since I point out to the us quite often when talking about political issues and such. That's because your govt. is a perfect craftsmanship of corruption. I don't mind the people, just your govt. in general. And I do find this zombie thing funny, I just don't post anything positive about it ;p. Since the bigger picture behind it isn't anything to laugh about.

I understand what you are saying and that is fine. Unfortunately I cannot discuss what you just wrote even though I would like to. It would be a great discussion I think so it is quite unfortunate for me. =/

Well, since you want to discuss it..sure ^^

First, all the zombie hype in movies, and now this? Don't you find it weird that the army is taking this thing serious? If a zombie-like situation would ever occur, I'm sure it would be consciously caused by the govt. You could compare this with the zionist plan to wipe out a large number of civilians. People are steering drones and killing civilians like it's a game. Do you think that could be compared with the zombie thing? (I know, this might sound bizarre for most people who aren't familiar with topics like these; So, if you can't reason with this, just question it, don't ridicule it like some ignorant members on NB do)

Sick and tired of this. Get your self righteous heads out of your asses and stop planting a target on the way the U.S. government runs things. It's not perfect. But nothing is. I've seen several threads in the last few days about how screwed up our practices are.

There are real war and political criminals out there, called Bashar Assad, Kim Jong Un, and countless others.

I'm sick and tired of my country being a target board for your almighty judging natures.
