Karla: -turns to him- huh?

Randy: Thats a no....-sighs- See anything?

*Eats you brains*

 

[The Mockingjay]

Karla: Nope. -turns her head back to the front, she slides her back slowly down the wall of the van leaving her sitting on the ground leaning against the bottom of the van. She stares forward but doesn't really see.
After a delayed pause she suddenly realises she's staring off into the world and reverts her eyes down to her own body. She see's she is still in costume and begins to pull at the material, rolling it through her fingers and taking in every intimate detail of the craftsmanship that has gone into making it. Whilst she carries out this motion it occurs to her that this costume is not simply a fancy dress outfit, it looks and feels as if it's been specially made. for her? no. well, not that she can remember anyway.
Why would she want it? It can't really be hers she thinks to herself as she admires the textures in her fingers. Looking back up she can see the faint silhouettes of a small group of infected slowly making there way toward her. This sight interupts her trail of thought and she forgets about figuring herself out for the time being.-
We got a few coming in.. doesn't look like too many though.

Randy: -picks up rifle- Okay...-shoves clip- You still got the pistol I gave you?

Karla: Umm, I think so yeah... -reaches down to her waist and clutches and the part of the belt she believed the gun rested. Feeling nothing she begins to panic and shoots quickly up onto her knees, eyes desperately scanning the floor around where she sat. Seeing nothing she locks her eyes on his and she gives a faint smile followed by a giggle which comes across more as a whimper due to its breath-like volume.- Think its still in the van -she says, more in hope than expectation. She waits, still, for him to reach into the van and search for her.-

Randy: Ill check it out. Tell me how close they get. -opens van foor and begins looking-

 

[The Mockingjay]

Karla: -drops to the ground instantly as he disappears into the van, her eyes scan the area under the van briefly knowing the chances of finding it under there are slim she doesn't take a proper look. She then pushes herself back up and looks through the front window of the van to see if it has somehow made its way in there. It hasn't.
Karla then remembers her duties and spins quickly to see the entire pack of infected have disappeared. Karla steps out of her position carefully and advances slowly forwards looking in every direction with every step she takes. She feels uncomfortable, as if she is being watched from the fog which has descended over their position in the time she spent searching for the gun.
feeling she has gone far enough without seeing any immediate threat she turns back to realise how far she has actually wandered. The van is now just a dark faded shape in the distance and she begins to panic as she starts to run back in the direction of the vehicle.-

Randy" Got it! -steps out into fog and sees the faint outline of her runnig towards the van- I found it! -he goes to smile but he sees two rather large shapes appear behind her raising his weapon- Get down!

 

[The Mockingjay]

Karla: -hearing him shout she spins suddenly and sees the two figures encroaching in on her. Without thinking she drops to the floor and screams, staying grounded for what feels like a lifetime she suddenly remebers why she was in costume and looks up at her assaulter with a grin on her face, more for her own benefit than the others as she is unsure whther he would see her expression in the fog that surrounds them. Suddenly she feels her feet give way behind her and she feels herself being pulled through the fog from her right, looking down she notices a small rope has become entangled around her legs as a sort of lasso. As she is dragged across the ground she wonders who, or what awaits her on the other side of the rope.-

Randy: Hey! -runs after her aiming his weapon- Drop her or im shooting!

 

[The Mockingjay]

Karla: -doesn't resist the rope, she just relaxes her body and allows whatever is on the other end to reel her in like a fish caught on a line. The two figures intercept Randy as he chases her and stands in front of him, there faces covered like the rest of there bodies. They stand before him, arms folded and visibly looking down through their masks. Karla watches the sky pass as she is dragged into the fog, she smiles as she travels.-

Randy: I dont know who you a-holes are and I dont care. Out. Of. My. Way. -growls-

 

[The Mockingjay]

-The figures stand, relentlessly still. The movement of a breath is not even traceable in there bodies. They remain in front of him, no sign of aggression or defensiveness.-
Karla: -The sky above her disappears and is replaced by the deepest black. The floor beneath her changes too, the unsteady rough nature of the ground outside has been replaced by a smooth surface which the leather of her bottoms doesn't react well to and begin to squeak as she continues to slide through the darkness. The noise soon becomes hurtful to her ears and she is forced to reposition her body so that the leather no longer scrapes the cold, hard ground beneath her. Continuing to be dragged through the world she now looks to her side, all she sees ahead is darkness and the occasional thick object which she assumes is a pillar or support for the building she has clearly entered.-

Randy: Thats it...-fires his weapon at them-

 

[The Mockingjay]

-Both the figures drop to the ground in a huddle of bodies, showing no resistance at all.-
Karla: -feels the only shred of light in her vision disappearing as she looks back and sees a giant door sliding shut and cutting out what remains of the light from outside. The rope then stops pulling and she feels it go limp. She lays in silence, just the occasional clang of machinery and metal can be heard resonating throughout the building. The expected arrival of a person to greet her is not forthcoming and she remains in silence for longer than she is comfortable with. Losing her battle with her conscience she decides to call out in the hope that she won't have to wait any longer to find out her fate.- Hello! If you're going to do something could you just do it please! All this waiting around's got me going bored!
