*Takes a deep calming breath*

"My brother didnt make it....all ive got left of him is an old m16 and maybe a weeks worth of dehydrated meals." he said sadly.

*Pops two asprin into his mouth, then notices a bandage is missing. He quickly walks back out*

"Hey....did you use one of these? Were you bitten?" he asked

"Good. I saw what that bite did to Tyler....I NEVER want to have to see it happen anymore. Killing a zombie and killing someone just on the edge of humanity and undead is REAL different." he said, his eyes clouded over as he remembered his brother.

"Wait......i got one idea." he said, shrugging his backpack off him, he dug in it and found a dark red road flare. "Think we can draw them away if I go out the back door and toss this down the street? It makes a pretty good boom when it lights up" he said.
