Chapter 2 - Master vs. Students
Sagittarius changed at Tsuyo.
"Master Tsuyo" she yelled, "I've gotten better!"
"Let's see, Sage" he said, casually.
"Don't call me that!" she jumped above him, "Golden Arrow Barrage!"
She shot almost 100 arrows from above his head. The pressure from the arrows caused the ground around Tsuyo to sink deeper and deeper.
Sagittarius landed on the ground, took out a red arrow and shot it into the pit.
"Explosive Arrow!"
The arrow exploded inside the crater causing it to widen. After about two minutes Sagittarius seemed confident.
"I think I did it" She told me.
"Y-Yeah." I was scared still from seeing Tsuyo, but now seeing that Sagittarius took him head on made me less confident. Then, there was chuckling coming from the crater. Soon, Tsuyo's hand appeared.
"N-no..." Sagittarius said.
"Sage..." Tsuyo said while pulling himself up, "You have gotten stronger... But not strong enough to defeat me"
~Flashback~
"Master Tsuyo!" a little Sagittarius screamed while running towards him.
"What is it, Sage?" Tsuyo replied.
"I want to fight you right now"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah! I want to train to become one of the Zodiac Guardians like you. I'll show you to power of my arrows"
Tsuyo placed his hand on her head.
"Sagittarius, you can fight me" he began rubbing her head, "when you get strong enough to defeat me"
~End of Flashback~
I turned towards Sagittarius who looked lost and confused.
"Sage!" I yelled. Her head snapped towards me, "Get it together, we have to defeat him!"
She nodded and took out a plain arrow.
"Scorpio, please put some of you power in this arrow" Sagittarius asked. I walked towards the arrow and placed my palm on the back of the arrow. Soon, our energies began to become one with the arrow, powering it for a super charged attack.
"Poison Shot!" She let the arrow fly toward Tsuyo who continued to stand motionless in front of us.
"Great job, you two finally can combine your powers" The arrow struck him right in his chest. But, sadly, it had no effect. "But you two have seem to forgotten. I am the original Taurus.
Our faces were filled with terror. But, I continuously thought to myself, "I don't wanna be useless" so I sucked in my fear and turned into rage.
"Tsuyo!" I yelled, "I will defeat you!"
"Oh" he replied, "So it's your turn Scorpio? Looks like you haven't trained a bit"
I pointed my palm towards him.
"Poison Orb!" I yelled. The sphere of green and black slime flung itself towards him.
He grunted, "No head on attack? This isn't your style" he said while looking down.
"Shut up!" I screamed.
"Golden Horn Protection!" Two golden horns sprouted out of the ground in front of Tsuyo in order to protect him from the orb.
"Ram Wave!" He slashed his palm in the air and created a force of air in the shape of a bull towards me. I jumped up while Sagittarius slid to the side.
"Ram Wave! Ram Wave! Ram Wave!" Tsuyo screamed while laughing.
"Stop spamming!" I yelled back.
"This isn't a video game, idiot! Besides, can't I have fun with my old students!"
I created a poison wall midair to absorb the air rams but they broke through and knocked me out of the sky.
"Scorpio!" Sagittarius yelled.
"Is that all you've got, Scor?" Tsuyo asked as I collided with the ground.
Suddenly, green roots appeared out of the ground. They grabbed Tsuyo by the feet and hands while lifting him up. Then two figures appeared from the house behind him.
"Ivy Grab" the voice said.
"Who are you two!?" Tsuyo said. For a moment, he seemed defenseless. Then, I noticed the two figures.
"Virgo! Taurus!" I yelled.
"Yo!" Taurus said.
"Taurus, go tend to the kids, I'll handle him" Virgo said.
"Alrighty, Virgo" Taurus ran towards us.
"Ah... So, you're my replacement, eh?" Tsuyo said, "I guess after I take the plant freak and then we'll see who's stronger"
"Trust me, sir... I won't hold back" Virgo said, "I don't care if you're a first generation Zodiac, you're no different from trash because of your sins"
"Oh, we'll see" Tsuyo said while breaking vines.
