[Discussion] Zoan Fruit Hair Splitting

OK, so bear with me here, please.

With the talk of an elephant Zoan in the discussions of 806, I wondered if this is even possible since a sword already has the elephant Zoan fruit.

Since it was described as The Elephant Zoan fruit, I hadn't considered whether it was an African or Asian elephant.

This led me to wonder how much separation is needed for a new Zoan fruit to emerge. Considering they we're mass produced for what sounded like years, I would imagine quite a few similar fruits out there.

So, what are the likely separations for animals?

Also, is it possible for another Chopper-like creature to exist as a result of a different racially based DF?

Since the fruit we're mass-produced for human consumption, what would happen if a human ate a Human-Human fruit, whether from his race or another?

I see your point, I'm guessing it'll have to do with species name here, like the elephant has 2 species within the genus and 6 sub species, I'm going for specie splitting cause sub species won't be easily noticeable
