Zetsus not affected by IT

So, apart from the Edo Hokages obviously not being affected by Infinite Tsukuyomi, both Spiral and Black Zetsu aren't caught in it as well.
Is it because they were artificially created and aren't "real" natural born people?

Could be why the kages aren't affected. They were made from zetsu's. unfortunately there aren't any other edo's present that were not made from zetsu's to test this theory

They are actual cognitive characters with a mind and distinct personality though, so they probably have some kind of brain.
