Zetsu clone army?

Is the zetsu clone army part of zetsu's power? It occurred to me that I usually don't see the army of 100,000 clones attributed to any ninja, but it seems that it was a product of the white zetsu half if i'm not mistaken.

They are clones of white zetsu, but each of them are self sustaining beings, unlike wood clones, so its more like saying a Hokage has all the Shinobi in his/her village as her power. On they other hand, they are a direct product of zetsu, so I guess technically they would be part of his power, so I'm really not sure.

No they are not. Zetsu can't control them. They were made in the image of White zetsu, yes. But they are not his power like actualy clones are.

Like for example, if your parents made you, you were made in their image and has their dna. But are you your father? No, you are not. You're your own human being (with their appearence mixed and their dna). It works the same with Zetsu clones. If we let Zetsu use them as his power, that makes Hashirama have every single being with his dna as his power.
