Zetsu and Tobi mentally linked??

Sorry for the weird title, I'm not thinking straight... so sorry in advance if what you read makes no sense.

We all know at least Tobi's body is part Zetsu, from when Minato rasengan'ed it and the goo went everywhere.
There is alot of people saying Tobi knows Kakashi and Guy and vice versa.

I think that because Zetsu spied on people alot, he would know about Kakashi and Guy... but because Tobi is part-zetsu, they could have a link between their minds that gives him all the information that Zetsu gathers.

As for all the times Tobi has asked Zetsu what's going on, it could be because the information takes a while to 'download' or something.

So... this could be how Tobi knows stuff about K&G. :ice: and therefore he doesn't neccesarily know them personally.

I'm sorry if this didn't make sense, idk... I thought of this like 5 minutes ago, i haven't though it through much xd

Yeah i get exactly what you mean but i don't think their mentally linked, just he records everything he sees for Tobi so he becomes the one who knows everything

Somewhat agree. Zetsu does show his 'recording's to Tobi ever since from the start so it wouldn't be surprising.

Yes a lot he carries some of hes DNA or els he wouldnt have the senju poewr neither the izanagi.

Dont think they have to be mentally linked, zetsu could have easily just told him. HOWEVER remember when Pein used to summon all the akatsuki to seal the tailed beats mentally? I'd have to imagine zetsu and tobi can both do that

I see what you mean but I don't see how Kakashi is important enough to be spied on so they know about his 'life of regrets'. I see what you are saying about the link but I am not sure that it works like that.

"recording" part... yeah... could be... but can't Tobi just scan Zetsu's memories/recordings using his Sharingan???
