[Discussion] zetsu and itama cannot have any connection...

i don't know why everyone is seeing connection between itama and zetsu. Zetsu wa just an android and the reason why he looked half black and half white has been clearly explained before...it was due to the fact that one half of it was made of weak hashirama cells, and the other half of it had a weak chakra of Madara and his knowledge or whatever. And itama was a pure blooded senju who had a wierd hair colour that's all. Zetsu is just an android and nothing more. So there shouldn't be any connection b/w itama and zetsu...

You're correct. Itama has nothing do to with what happened in Konoha's history. That's why Kishi killed him early. Zetsu was a pure white guy before Madara put his dark will inside the original one.
Kishi always likes to troll us by showing some common things which we think having some connection between them but there was nothing except about Obito being the masked guy thing.

No no no. Itama was the secret love child of Hashirama and Madara conceived through a chakra uterus and time travel. That's why when he died, they secretly cloned him into Zetsu.

I thought it was obvious form the get go that itan was probably suppose to be a split appearance wise (Not saying justu wise)
Between hashi and tobi one had black hair the other had white.And this third brother had both.

Zestu are all white except for the one who was infused with madaras will.
