Accordingly with his two differently coloured halves, Zetsu has a split personality
This is often conveyed in the anime through the use of different voice actorsand in manga with different japanese alphabets.
Black Zetsu is more serious and knowledgeable while White Zetsu is carefree and easygoing(Black Zetsu is the one who knows about all justus performed by itachi)
Black Zetsu has wood release that means developed from shodai cells- yang release(senju trait), white zestu has shape shifting technique -it's a chakra related this probably yin release "creating forms out of imagination(uchiha trait)
Tobi also has left and right parts, left is like white and zestu and right is like black zestu see above for their traits
In anime and manga tobi also used two voices may be tobi two parts can talk individually and convey information to each other like zestu,
Left part is from Obito Uchiha and right part must be of senju cells and give him strength and growth
At tobi 's introduction he used comedy voice that should be of Obitos, and the deep voice must be like black zestu and he also has knowledge like zestu
This is also confirmed by tobi sayings , he said rinnegan was his ,in him both senju and uchiha are combined in a perfect way unlike others and when
kakashi asked about sharingan he said he got it at kannabi bridge (deep voice so right tobi) but again he also said in 588 that he would show the real power of Kamui and said kakashi barrowed rinnegan can't beat him
so for all those saying tobi still may not be Obito in mind I suggest half of his body is in mind and body is Obito and working in favour of Right part
and the right part more knowledgeable may be izuna/Madara mind with shodai cells and also explains knowledge about so many uchiha justus this way he can say that the rinnegan were his
