Zero appears relatively young. He has long white/silver hair that goes down to his knees. He is never seen without his trademarked , red schemed armor. He stands about 5'5''. His eyes are also a blue/green color. He hardly ever smiles, and the most people will get is a smirk.
Personality Prior to his encounter in the Land of Iron, Zero was extremely violent, maniacal and relished in destruction. He frequently laughed maniacally and screamed ferally during his fights. Now, outwardly, Zero appears cold and emotionless to others, even towards his comrades. However, it is shown through his actions that he has the capacity to care for others. Zero keeps his cool under most circumstances. No matter what his enemies do to him, he is always able to come up with retort. In spite of not viewing himself as a hero and showing a distaste for those who consider him as such, Zero often displays a tendency to sacrifice himself for the sake of others. He also shows distaste for innocent deaths. Even though Zero does not openly show it he seems to long for world peace, but he has no problem with fighting. In regards to humor he seems to take the path of sarcasm or wit, so despite his persona, he does possess a bit of humor.

Background Info
History: Zero is unaware of his origins including the inanity of his parents. Since birth he was under the care of rogue ninjas. His life revolved around violence, bloodshed, and he carried the labeled of an outcast since birth. Since this was the only life he knew he never attempted to escape the band of rogues as this was the only life he knew. He became a tool for violence as the band of rogues terrorized many lands, mainly on their outskirts. They were nomadic, but spent most of their time in the harsh deserts of Sunagakure. All of this would change when they targeted a family on the outskirts of the Land of Iron. The family refused to hand over their supplies to the rogues and then fighting ensued. During the conflict it was discovered that a child was amongst them. Unlike Zero this child was not bred to fight. In fact, he looked sheltered and defenseless. By this time the father and mother who fought valiantly were knocking on deaths door, and for a reason unknown till this day, Zero jumped in between the rogues and the family. Neither one wanted to back down, so Zero drew his sword and fought off the entire brigade. He awoke under the care of samurai. His armor was broken and his body was in critical condition. He could not remember if he had saved the family, or not, or if someone else came and drove the remaining rogues off. With the little strength he had he asked the samurai who was standing guard if the family was alive. The guard told him they were alive, and spoke on his behalf. With this in mind Zero went back to sleep. When he was at full strength he decided to remain in the area and pledge his sword to the land of Iron. He would start over and begin his life anew as a Samurai of the Land of Iron.
Other
Zero always carries his swords with him that are known simply as the Z Blades. That and his armor are the only things that might give him a glimpse of his past.
