[Discussion] Zanpakuto abilities

Why do you think that zanpakutos have different abilities??
I know that shinigami inject their soul's essence into the zanpakuto.But what makes a zanpakuto develop specific abilities??
I think its based on the nature of the user.Like Aizen being a master at manipulating and using people which reflects the ability of his kyoka suigetsu's complete hypnosis.

Zanpuktos are very different than I thought back when I first got into bleach what with these Acsauhi or w/e it is being supplied then formed into something unique. Its weird but kinda cool, I think the zanpuktos powers form to suit the weilder.

A zanpakuto's abilities and form are based on the shinigami's 'heart'. Go back to when Ichigo was doing his bankai training. Ichigo found out that the swords he had been using to fight zangetsu were all made from his 'heart's' weaknesses, while zangetsu is bade from his strengths.

It's the same with hollows. The holes in their bodies symbolises their missing 'heart'. Their 'hearts' become their masks and also transforms their bodies into a twisted representation of themselves

pandu asked why zanpakuto have different abilities. I answered that question for him, since no two people have the same 'heart', their abilities are different.

Isshin's and Ichigo's zanpakuto's have the same ability but we haven't seen Isshin use bankai yet, so we can't say for sure that they have the exact same abilities.

I agree, it is a contradiction. But don't blame me, blame Kubu for creating this plot hole by giving Isshin the same zanpakuto abilities as Ichigo.
