Looks: Zanji is a tall, handsome young man. He has slightly tanned skin, bright blue eyes and short black hair with silver patches. Over his bare torso he wears a ragged dark purple, sleeveless jacket with chains attached to it. On his hips he has two leather belts with buckles bearing werewolf symbols - mooncrests and a head of a wolf. He wears unbuttoned, tight, black leather pants. Both his boots and gloves are lined with fur. The wolf head crest is recurring exceptionally often in Zanji's outfit, being repeated on his gloves, boots, buckles of his belts and the plates attaching the chains to his coat. Additionally, Zanji has a large mooncrest tattoo on his chest.
Personality: Zanji is a very cold and calculating person. In fights he is very strategic, and tactical showing little to no mercy to anybody that he fights. If he notices somebody begging for mercy or for their life he sees it as a weakness and will most likely kill the person on the spot rather than listen to them any longer.

Background Info.
History:
My name is Zanji, well at least that is what I have been told. I don’t remember much of my past other than the fact that I am from the Yuki clan and I was born in Kirigakure, other than that all I remember are the events that have transpired over the last several years….I woke up laying down in the middle of a destroyed building with debris laying in every direction of my with a gaping hole in the ceiling and in part of the far wall to my left and all I could see was a massive blizzard roaring outside of the building. My head was pounding while I was trying to remember who I was or why I was there but, I didn’t see a single person so I decided to wait out the storm and I curled up in the corner of the building, the next morning the storm had subsided and a group of people all wearing animal masks charged into the house in every direction, even through the gaping hole and their leader walked up to me and offered me assistance to my feet and when he asked me who I am, and where I was from and why I was in this building all I told him was “I don’t know”. Upon hearing my answer he took me back to their main village while they had my eyes covered. When we had finally reached our destinations they tied me to a chair that had explosive tags strapped to the legs and put seals on my wrists in order to prevent me from doing anything just in case I had been trying to fool them, but I heard their leader call for a man named Madara Uchiha and somehow knew where I was but couldn’t remember how I knew….a few moments later Madara came into the room removing my blind fold and held a fireball a short distance from the side of my face as I glared into his eyes. He smirked and stated it’s a foolish thing to glare into an Uchiha’s eyes especially for being an enemy of the village. I simply replied that I had no fear of his clan, and that I was merely ambushed while I was inside a destroyed building not knowing of who I was or where I was….Madara stepped back and sat on a stool and began to question me getting the same answer until he had asked me if I had a Kekkei Genkai or any form of shinobi training. When I went to tell him I don’t know nor remember he interrupted me as he got a document from a man in a mask and armored uniform…..and he told me that he thought I looked familiar and called me Zanji, a rare member of the Yuki clan, and should never be approached without having at least one sage within a group of 10 jounin…..and said that was highly impressive and that he would have to wave a cautionary flag around me if he came across me in battle…….upon seeing that I had no idea of any of that information he had read off to me. He looked down at the documents then back at me and burned the papers in his hand and told me he wanted to see if I would sub-consciously remember how to fight and sent me out against one of his top Anbu members in their sparring field…he told me if I live then I live up to my reputation and that I will be of use to him and if I die then…I’m dead simple as that,
As I entered the sparring arena his top anbu man immediately tried to ambush me to kill me but without even thinking about it my eyes turned cold and I froze him in mid air and jumped into the air spinning around as I kicked his head off his frozen body and proceeded to spin around and slammed a water drill with a rasengan in the center of it threw his torso causing him to explode with frozen pieces and diamond dust flying everywhere. Madara walked out laughing and clapping stating the poor bastard didn’t even stand a chance against me. He then decided I would of be of use to him and told me if I help him then I would be allowed to leave and do whatever I pleased to do and Konohagakure would not do a thing against me. I shrugged and asked him what he would like of me and he simply told me to infiltrate his rival, Shodaime’s crew become friends and trusted by them and just report anything and everything to him……I shrugged my shoulders again and said fine I can do that. A few months had gone by and I had easily infiltrated his crew using my amnesia to my advantage, but with the advantage of demonstrating my skills. I quickly became friends with BishamonSama throughout the process but eventually when I knew Shodaime was making a mistake I quickly and effectively took a massive advantage of it because Shodaime was trying to lure one of my Uchiha friends into a trap, and when he went in to attack Shisui I quickly got between the two of them and showed everyone that I was merely acting a spy between the two groups and initially got several angry with me but it subsided just as quickly. But Bishamon, Madara and I quickly rose in the ranks as the three most powerful shinobi in the world at that time. Although we had several fights amongst ourselves we had just as many if not more amongst others…One major fight I found myself in was against a man named Orochimaru who out of nowhere bit me on the chest just as I had tried to decapitate him. Upon biting me on the chest he had left a curse mark on me and Bishamon immediately rushed to my side and tried to cure me of it but accidently ended up making the power of that curse much stronger and changing it into a rather large crescent moon shaped tattoo on my chest. For a short while I was capable of changing into a white wolf. But Bishamon said that what was happening to me was nothing more than just a mere side-effect of curing the curse. But one side affect he had failed to inform me about was that my Kekkei Genkai abilities would weaken for short periods of time…which happened during a fight I had with an Uchiha who had fired a Kirin straight threw my left shoulder blade, though I sustained such a massive injury the Uchiha took too lightly of me, and I ended up killing him by stabbing my right hand threw his chest just a centimeter away from his heart. While my hand was inside his chest I began freezing his the veins and his heart killing him almost instantaneously. After that fight and the mark had been fully cured just leaving a massive tattoo on my chest I decided that it would be best for me to travel the world and try to master my abilities even more so than I had done already.
During my travels I met few people whom had aided me in my training and in understanding the human body more so than I knew, those people went by the names of, Roku, Tsukoshi, and Zenryoku. But during my many years of traveling, training, and fighting I had inevitably acquired the title of Ice Sage throughout the Shinobi world, as being the most skilled and possibly deadliest Shinobi who uses Ice. But upon my return to many of the villages after going into years of solitude I had notice that it had drastically turned for the worse in my absence and many of my companions absences. When people had realized who I was and what I had done in the past and the title I had acquired. Many young and reckless shinobi begged to be trained by the best and only wanted to be taught the best abilities…..I was disgusted with what the world had turned into and inevitably joined the Akatsuki to show that the world needs to be radically changed back to how it use to be and the only way to do that was to show them by force that they can no longer rely on the older, more highly skilled shinobi to fight their battles for them. Initially I was not the leader of Akatsuki but during an invasion of a country we were mysteriously out gunned and out manned by several of the strongest shinobi from across the world, with a promise of going up in ranking if they managed to start taking us out. After we had narrowly survived that invasion we all went into hiding for a short time and I was elected the leader of Akatsuki but considering we were all forced into a peace period, there was little to nothing that could be done, even if we tried to invade nothing would have turned out for it so most of us went into mediation, or solitude. I stepped down from leadership during and a member of our rankings took my former position…

Nature Transformation: As a member of the cursed Yuki Clan, Zanji, is capable of creating and manipulating the Kekkei Genkai of Ice, which is the combination of the two elements Water, and Wind. Zanji has shown to be highly efficient with using his Kekkei Genkai he can use all Ice techniques with just one or two hand seals.
Taijutsu: Over the many years of his training Zanji has proven highly effective in using the art of Taijutsu, even being considered a master at it in certain fields, with being able to stand toe-to-toe with even Kaguya clan members. Although he doesn’t prefer to, Zanji has proven to also be skilled in using any kind of weapon in a fight, preferably short swords.
