Personality: Zanji is an extremely laid-back individual, whom nearly always has a smirk on his face. He tends to have a very reckless attitude when he confronts other individuals who are considered equals to him. He also has no issues asking people how many people they have killed throughout their career as a ninja, and even flipping off higher ups just for the hell of it. But the main thing that he hates is when he is ordered around by those equal or lower to him.
As far as battles are concerned he holds the same laid-back demeanor but is very calculating, tactical and strategic when fighting others. He is highly proficient at battling others at a long range, he much prefers to have up close and personal battles and rely more on his taijutsu skills against his enemies. When in battle he shows little to no mercy, seeing as if people who turn their backs and run or plead for their lives as a sign of weakness and cowardice and gets enraged when he sees others due such especially when fighting him.

Background Info.
History:
I was born in a small village in the outskirts of Kirigakure. My mother was a member of the Yuki clan as well as my father, but my mother had died after giving birth to me. My father was unable to use the clans Kekkei Genkai but when he realized I could he attempted to kill me in fear of my what I could do and out of a desperate shout in fear I released my first Ice Technique killing my father and destroying our home in the process. A village member saw what happened and initially thought that it was the father who used it due to the sheer size of the technique. When he had rushed towards the house he saw that the father was impaled and me laying on the ground unconscious. He then proceeded to take me to the Mizukage's office in Kirigakure to decide on what should be done with me due to my age. The Mizukage at the time saw it that it would be beneficial to keep me alive and placed me under the guidance and surveillance of the villages top shinobi and Anbu members.
I don't remember much of my childhood due to it being nothing but training and honing my skills. The Mizukage opted to keep my Kekkei Genkai abilities secret from the rest of the village and the other villages seeing as most of them still hated and considered my clan a Curse amongst all other clans inside the Land of Water. Though even with the Mizukage trying to keep me a secret amongst the village as a "secret" weapon of theirs word had gotten out of my skills but not my kekkei genkai and after words when I went into an all out battle against Hellsbadass, a former member of the SevenSwordsmen of the Mist, many bared witness to it and saw me using my kekkei genkai to partially freeze Hellsbadass, freezing his entire lower half. When people had found out about not only my skills with it but my kekkei genkai alone, the Mizukage had no other choice but let all know whom have found out. Upon finding out about it myself I went to the Mizukage and was then ordered to infiltrate Konohagakure.
Upon arriving in Konoha I had my appearance altered to resemble that of a Jounin Leader of Konoha. Luckily I was able to infiltrate it without any issues and quickly gained their trust. After being in the village for a couple of years I had learned much valuable information and once I had reported back to the Mizukage at that time we had found out that the Hokage was planning on taking a few Doujutsu's from other village members and we decided that was when I was going to take action and reveal my true identity. After a couple of months and when the Hokage took me on a mission with him and his second in command Bishamon. While Bishamon was busy fighting several others and I was pretending to fend off the Mizukage I waited for the Hokage to make his move and when he did so I launched and attack against him freezing him where he stood along with catching Bishamon off guard and during the surprise I took the opportunity to kill the Hokage due to his unjust reasons of taking other's Doujutsu's just to amplify his own power. Upon our escape Bishamon had launched an attack against me using his own Kekkei Genkai of Lava. During my fight with him we stood on equal grounding, the Mizukage at that time appeared and teleported the two of us away. Shortly after that incident I quickly came to realize that I was nothing more than a tool to the Mizukage and separated myself from them and decided to travel on my own.
Though due to my actions against the now deceased Hokage, and leaving Kirigakure I was viewed as a enemy to all the nations and was hunted down by Bishamon for a short while but the two of us throughout our several battles eventually became allies though it was the loosest term of the word. Throughout my many battles with several others I acquired a reputation amongst all the nations....but none of them being negative or mentioned of being a criminal. I eventually over time became an ally of all five great nations. But one day I got tired of Bishamon being the only person whom ever truly tested my skills. I decided to do traveling of my own, but throughout my travels I ventured into a village at a base of the mountain. There I decided to stay and train myself and to better my skills using the Ice element even more. After spending several years honing my skills with Ice and completely mastering it I journeyed to Kumogakure....there I met an individual named Roku, though he seemed a bit strange with always "experimenting" with many different things....even when some of those things backfired in his face. After being in the Land of Lightning for a while I decided to continue with my journey and eventually ventured into the Land of Iron.
While in the Land of Iron, I came across their shogun Zenryoku. After meeting him I opted to try and learn his style of combat.....

Nature Transformation: Threw the mastery of his Water and Wind elements, Zanji is capable of forming his clans Kekkei Genkai of Hyouton, Ice Release. Threw his years of using his Ice he is capable of forming his techniques rather quickly and effectively.
Taijutsu and Speed: Threw many years of training not only has he mastered his Kekkei Genkai. He has mastered the art of hand to hand combat, and incredible speed. With his Taijutsu and Speed he is able to hold his own against several others whom are highly proficient in Taijutsu, such as Goro Kaguya. His speed is as fast as Rock Lee with his weights on.
Kenjutsu: Zanji is highly proficient when it comes to fighting with a sword and is willing to use any sword he can get his hands on during a battle let it be as small as a Tantou to as large as a giant broadsword. Though he is usually seen carrying his own large Nodachi, that has a small fur lining on its guard. Even though it is large in it's size he is still capable of wielding it with one hand and unsheathing it rather quickly.
