History
I was born in a small village in the Land of Water, amongst fellow clan members during the Kiri Civil War. During which I was trained to be a shinobi and master our clans Kekkei Genkai of Hyouton. Though after the war, my family was killed after the war was over out of fear of our clans ability, but before they were killed they had hid me away. Being orphaned I ended up in the capital of the Land of Water, Kirigakure (Village Hidden in the Mist). Where I continued my training to be a shinobi for the village, but kept my Kekkei Genkai a secret so that the friends I had made wouldn’t fear me. When I was 11 years old when I passed the Chunnin exam, and the Mizukage had placed me onto a unique team, which was a Naval Force, which was going to be a new force to attack nations and rule the seas. But after years of sailing the seas, and having moved up in ranks and becoming a Captain, I decided to go rouge from the village, and become a Pirate.
Over the years of being a Pirate, I had become well known throughout several countries, mostly as an infamous unruly shinboi who had fled the Land of Water and taking charge of the seas of the world. But what was really the reason I had decided to become a Pirate instead of serve as a shinobi to the Land of Water…wasn’t only the fame, the gold, and the glory….but also it was because it didn’t feel right serving for such a notorious village, and a village responsible for killing my family, and running my clan into hiding. So every time I had seen a Kiri vessel out on sea I would pillage it, kill all of its crew members who had wrongfully killed innocents of either their own nation or the nations of others. But when I had turned 26 years old, I was in a small harbor town on the coast of the Land of Fire, when my ship was completely destroyed as I was about to board it, and from the explosion I was forcefully launched far back into the woods. After a few days lying in the debris of broken branches and trees, with several broken bones I was finally woken up by two village members of the hidden leaf one was a shinobi, Tsukoshi, and the other was a kunoichi by the name of Shisui. Both carefully freed me of the debris and bandaged my wounds. Though they had asked me several times, I was unable to remember neither my name nor how I ended up in that mess with all of those injuries. They eventually gave me the name of “Zanji”, and when I tried to ask them what the name meant they never gave me a direct answer. We eventually returned to Konohagakure (Village Hidden in the Leaves) where they presented me infront of their Kage. Whom of which was highly skeptical of me but was convinced when their head medical shinobi told them that I do indeed have memory loss and that some of my memories would return to me over a period of time but I would never be able to remember them all. After words the Kage through me into an arena and demanded to see what I was capable of even though I couldn’t remember how to use any sort of Jutsu.
While in the arena I was pitted against one of Iwagakure’s top shinobi, Bishamonsama, who was very good friends with the Kage. At first the Kage wanted him to just test me, but as the fight went on the more and more I remembered how to use several techniques, and several fighting methods, and by the Kage’s orders Bishamon became steadily more and more serious before the fight was stopped due to the massive amount of damage we were causing to the area with our Kekkei Genkai’s of Ice and Lava. After seeing my abilities the Kage tried to make me a shinobi of Konoha, but I then suddenly started to get flash backs of my former village, and why I left them. I then suddenly got a cold glare in my eyes as I slam the Kage to the ground and create two swords made of ice in my hands as I hold the blades to his throat and demand him to tell me what exactly he does to his village members who disapprove of him and his ways, and he cloud back into my eyes with a hint of fear in his eyes and simply replied that he wouldn’t do a thing other than try to earn their respect, I then made my swords dissipate as I helped him back to his feet telling him that was the right answer, but I refused to wear their headband as I would operate better without having to wear their symbol and that the village wouldn’t come to harm if nobody knew what village I fought for. When he went to ask if I remembered everything I said no, and all that I remembered is that I was a Pirate, with an urge to forever freeze the Hidden Mist for what they had done to my family, and my clan, and to truly give them a reason to fear the Kekkei Genkai of Ice.
The Kage then decided to send Tsukoshi, Shisui, Bishamon, and myself onto a mission where we would be out on sea in search for a legendary tool of the Sage of Six Paths that had thought to have been destroyed when he had died all those years ago. When we heard it rumors of several different locations between the Land of Water and a small remote island, I first said we will need to get a ship and Bishamon jumped in shouting he would be the Captain, but was suddenly shut up by both Tsukoshi and Shisui punching him in the back of the head and said that I would be the Captain since I am the only one with the sailing experience to handle the seas of the World. I silently nodded in agreement, as we boarded a new ship, and named it the “Jackdaw”. Though we were trying to make a serious strategy on which way we are going to go about this and Bishamon shouted out that he would like for us to go to the island first, and I regrettably asked why, and if he even knew the name of the island and he comically replied saying “Nope, I am naming it Pen Island”….we all stared blankly at him as he tried to explain the joke and we all told him to shut up at the same time.
After several months of traveling at sea, Bishamon was getting restless and highly annoying at the time and since the island was rather close to the location in the sea that was told to us before we had set out. I told them to go ahead and head for the island just to get the monkey off my ship and Shisui and Tsukoshi laughed and agreed. I then jumped into the paddle boat and dropped to the sea as they continued on towards the island. After I had gotten to the specific location I took my jacket, shirt, and boots off and dove into the water. There I had found one of Kiri’s sunken ships, but what looked odd was that it looked like it was just recently sunk. So I quickly swam back to the surface and off in the distance I saw 2 ships heading straight for the Jackdaw which was already at the island. I launched myself out of the water and froze a path in the entire sea straight to the Jackdaw leaving enough room for it to head out.
As I reached the Jackdaw, I quickly jumped up onto the ship as the three were about to get off and I shouted at them to get back on and pointed towards the incoming ships, and they immediately asked me what we are going to do and I simply sad that we are going to sink them, and that I have never ran from a fight and I wasn’t about to start doing so. When we finally got the ship back out to sea and headed for the incoming ships it didn’t take long before we were attacked by a barrage of various techniques, which we easily defended against, and as we got closer to them Shisui and Tsukoshi cased the water under their ships to erupt and as they were about to be launched into the air I froze the water with the ships attached to them and ran at Bishamon as he grew Rock arms and through me at one of the ships where the captain of that ship was HellsBadass and his first mate being UchIhaSasuke. Though the latter was a very arrogant fighter he thought he could force me to surrender as he created a Kirin and condensed it down to the size of a baseball and shot it through my left shoulder, as I fell to the ground he walked over gloating how he could kill me on a whim, and as he stood over me I shot my right hand up using my Frozen Raikiri and pierced his chest right next to his heart freezing his blood veins killing him. From the shock Hellsbadass tried to rush me and as I threw the corpse of his first mate at him, he turned his body into water to allow the body to pass through him and as the body was passing through him I froze his body except for his head and walked over to him grasping my shoulder. As I stood next to him, I simply told him he would have lasted longer had he not tried using water against me, and I left his body frozen with his dead first mate frozen inside of his chest.
When we returned to the island we had left we explored it but found nothing, except for a trap, that happened to be an entire village hiding on the Island which had apparently been a secret location of where the Mizukage trained their members too brutally kill all and anyone who would oppose the entire village. Bishamon and I suddenly got a cold glare in our eyes as Tsukoshi and Shisui silently nodded and stepped back as Bishamon and I eradicated the entire training village off the island, leaving nothing but a gaping hole with the edges frozen solid.
After the long voyage we returned to the Hidden Leaf and reported what happened, initially disappointed the Kage thanked us for doing what we did and named us the Sages of Earth and Ice. After words Bishamon and I went out to a secluded area were we attempted to fight each other in a serious fight once more, but were still unable to finish our fight due to the sheer exhaustion from the grueling fight, and went our separate ways to travel the world……

►Nature Transformation: Being from the Yuki clan, Edward is capable of using his clans bloodline ability of Hyouton (Ice Release), which is the combination of the elements Water and Wind. Through years of training Edward mastered his clan’s ability, to the point where he can use all of the clan’s techniques with just a one-handed hand seal.
Edward, due to his Kekkei Genkai, he had to have mastered the elements of Wind and Water, and with such his prowess with these elements it’s rather vast. Making him capable of performing even the most complicated of techniques hand-seals very quickly.

Not including the vast assortment of kunai’s, explosive tags, flash bombs, and smoke bombs in his pouches.
