Looks: Zanji is a tall, stern and muscular individual with short spiked black hair with a black spike coming down the front of his face. He doesn’t not have a left arm due to a former battle, and has a scar running down the left side of his face going over his left eye and down his cheek. He wears a black gi with a dark blue undershirt, black wrist band and dark blue leg warmers with bandage wrapped feet. He is always seen wearing this uniform in remembrance of his fallen friends and family. When training he wears the same attire but with boots they are all heavily weighted, with his wrist band weighing 95 lbs, his dark blue undershirt weighing 250 lbs, and his boots weighing 150 lbs each.
Personality: Zanji is a calm and caring individual who also has a very serious and highly aggressive demeanor. He is considered a true warrior due to his tactical and strategic thinking when in the middle of a battle, while still holding a sense of honor even when fighting an enemy. Although he will out right kill anyone in cold blood if need be.

Background Info.
History:
My name is, Zanji, I was born in a small village in the mountains of Kumo. My father was considered the best warrior of the village and everybody looked up to him. Everyday he would train with me in the back yard with his friends. Then one day my father sent me to Kumogakure to attend their academy. I graduated from the academy when I was 6 and the Raikage believed I would be best fit to go back to my village and learn everything that my father new and expand threw those means.
Upon my return to the village my father had a huge banquet set up for us at home….and we ate everything in sight, and the next day my father started my on a new training regiment of his were I would start to wear weighted clothing to increase my speed and strength. He had my climb the sides of the cliffs in the mountains and train in hand to hand combat with the weights. I spent the next 4 years training with my father and his friends…..until one day when two Uchiha’s began attacking our village…..my father and his friends fought bravely….but one by one they fell…they used an attack combination that consisted of a Fire Release: Intense Pain, and Lightning Release: 1,000 Birds Thunderclap that completely destroyed the house my mother and I was in and the houses next to our house…the blast was so devastating my mother blocked me from the blast but she lost her life and I was scared on the left side of my face, going from above my left eye in an angle to the bottom of left cheek. I thought I was the only survivor until I heard my fathers best friends wife screaming for help…I rushed over to her and help her and her baby boy escape from the burning debris even though I was injured myself.
A few days later shinobi from Kumogakure arrived asking us what happened and when we told them they took me and the other two to Kumogakure where I grew up training myself more and more over the next 5 years joining their ranks. When the time came for the Chuunin Exams that were being held in Konohagakure my sensei chose Roku, and myself…on our way to Konoha, Roku and I were talking about how we grew up and when he told me about how upset he was to hear about the village that was destroyed 5 years ago I clenched my fists and told him and you could tell the shock in his eyes when I told him how I survived and received the scar on my face. That day we made a promise that no other would fall in that manor again. When we arrived in Konohagakure we were met at the front gate by clan member of Roku’s named Son Gohan, but since I say him holding a crutch in his hand for someone I called him Crutch whenever we saw each other. All three of us passed the exams with flying colors, and we parted ways for the time being.
On our way back to our village Roku and I ran into two shinobi who had also passed named Hells and Bishamon the two were from completely separate countries due to Bishamon wearing a Iwagakure headband and Hells wearing a Kirigakure. Roku and I already knew our elemental affinities were with Roku being predominate in fire Techniques as I was predominate in lightning based techniques we both went at them…though since we were kids we didn‘t hold anything back as they didn‘t either hold back in any way as well…it was as if they were out for blood for no reason. We fought against the two the best we could until a passing Jounin of Konoha came by and scared the thieves off. That moment the Jounin offered to escort us back to our village and we agreed. Upon our arrival back to our village Roku thanked his father and told me he was going to go back to Konoha with his father but before they left Roku told his father who I was, but his father already knew due to the look in my eyes they resembled my fathers and he told me I am welcome to Konoha anytime for training.
After that day I continued to train myself into mastering several different techniques over the years and training the young boy who survived that day the two Uchiha’s attacked our home village. During my training the Raikage at that time brought his right hand man who was a master of the Kekkei Genkai, Ranton a.k.a. Storm Release. The Raikage told me that my parent’s were possessors of that Kekkei Genkai and believed I did as well. So during my training with Tsukoshi (the young boy) I also underwent training in using Storm Release. Over the years I learned to master the kekkei genkai, and also became a highly skilled fighter in many forms of taijutsu.
Then one day when I was 20, Tsukoshi and I were out on a mission…but we decided to take a detour to visit our home town…upon our arrival we saw it was in the same shape it was left in but saw a house that had a light coming from it and we decided to investigate…I shouted to see if anyone would respond but I didn’t hear a thing until I saw someone looking threw the window and when I saw the persons face I went into a blind rage and proceeded to attack the house. With Tsukoshi standing in shock on my reaction he shouted why I was attacking and when I told him he stood there in shock…when I busted into the house I tackled the male Uchiha involved with killing everyone I knew and we broke out into a taijutsu fight in the house while Tsukoshi was still in awe about what’s going on and when he went to respond the female Uchiha placed him in Tsukuyomi. When I was thrown threw the window I noticed what was going on and I fired a 1,000 Birds Thunderclap into the house breaking the females genjutsu hold on Tsukoshi and when I went to aid him to get out of the area. The two Uchiha’s begun to attack us again and I threw Tsukoshi out of the way and proceeded to attack them…they noticed I was protective over the young shinobi and they both focused their attack combination of Intense Pain and 1,000 Birds Thunderclap at him and in a burst of speed I tackled Tsukoshi out of their line of fire…but at the cost of my left arm, and Tsukoshi’s right leg being completely vaporized…
Five years have passed and I still don’t know why they didn’t finish the job or why they disappeared that day. But ever since then I have been training myself in the art of taijutsu of using only one arm and in using all of my former techniques with just that one arm. As for Tsukoshi….he died that day due to the shock of losing his leg and the mass amount of blood loss he endured…After that battled I decided to be a shinobi of both Konohagakure and Kumogakure with the permission of the respective Kages. I work closely with Crutch, and Roku on several missions we are put on. Though Roku has become the Raikage he usually has a clone stand in whenever he goes out on missions with Crutch and myself. But one day when I was returning from a mission I overheard a conversation in Roku’s office with his top messenger stating that the two Uchiha’s have returned but are getting closer to the village, and Roku told him to not tell me…..but I busted into the office and demanded to go and when Roku told me no he doesn’t want me to be another victim of those two….I told him to try and stop me as I took off out of the Kage’s office and manor…
I quickly caught up to where the two were and saw that they were laying waist to the entire village and due to me not wearing my weighted clothing I quickly ran up to them and kicked the male Uchiha threw a house wall and slammed an electric ball into the ground concealing my location from the female as I quickly rushed into the house where the male was…once he saw me and saw that I was missing an arm he laughed and told me this next time he will finish the job and take my life…we broke out into a taijutsu battle even with his 3 tomoe sharing an activated he was having a hard time keeping up with my attacks but when we got outside the female began to assist in the battle….being overwhelmed I tried to separate the two once again but that proved to be next to impossible until I blasted the female threw the chest with a powerful Storm release blast…shocked with what the male had just witnessed he went into a rage and activated his Mangakyou Sharingan. When he blasted me into the ground with a power fire ball he began to try and escape by jumping from building to building and I immediately gave chase after him and when he thought he was in the clearing he jumped straight up into the air towards a giant rock pillar and ran and jumped off the rock pillar grabbing his foot and as we were heading to the ground I slammed him into the ground as hard as I could and while still holding his leg with my one arm I spun him around in a circle and threw him against the rock pillar and fired another storm release blast at him and the rock pillar causing the rock pillar to crumble down ontop of him killing him in the process.
I returned to Kumogakure and immediately reported to Roku…..he first acted like he was angry with my actions and ordered for his security and secretary to leave the office…and once they did he smiled and told me that he understood why I did what I did and in my own way achieved what I so desperately desired over these long years…..but if I ever did what I did again he wouldn’t hesitate to try and stop me himself…..even if it would be a great task…..and over this past year I have returned to my missions with Crutch for preparations for tournaments and peace talks with other countries……

Chakra Control: Over the years and threw excessive training and combat experience Zanji as learned to have complete control over his chakra
One-Armed Fighting: After Zanji had lost his left arm he had to retrain himself in all of the techniques he had mastered with just his one hand. He is capable of performing any Lightning, Storm and his summoning's with just one hand seal while the others require one-handed hand seals.
Nature Transformation: Zanji is proficient with*water*and*lightning release*techniques, and is able to use two separate techniques of the natures simultaneously. He is also able to combine these two separate natures to create the*kekkei genkai*known as*Storm Release*which creates beams of light that flow like water and can be freely guided like missiles. He is also proficient with the use of*chakra flow. His skill with chakra flow is such that he was able to cut through a*metal bladewith a lightning-enhanced shuriken.
Taijutsu: Every since he was a child Zanji trained in the art of Taijutsu with his father and his friends. Even after the lose of his left arm he continued to train himself and master the are of Taijutsu with his one hand and kick-boxing.
Increased Speed and Strength: Due to training since he was a child with weighted clothing Zanji’s speed has become equivalent to that of Rock Lee’s without the weight’s and his strength is nearly equal to that of A’s (Yondaime Raikage).
