Well one of the main problems that come up with this twist of Zangetsu being bach is what about the young zangetsu in bankai and how did ichigo do final getsuga if Zangetsu was not Zangetsu?
Well we can assume that the young zangetsu in ichigos bankai state is also bach just younger, but we dont know why he's younger in Bankai state. But as far as the whole final getsuga goes, according to this chapter, ichigo hollow within him was hes real zanpakto the whole time. Why he was hel;ping someone impersonate him is beyond me but we can assume its just because Hichigo is just a huge ****.
But all the hints do lead to Zangetsu not being the real one the whole time.
Old man Zangetsu never taught ichigo Getsuga it was his hollow, the first time he ever used it was against byakuya when he was transforming into a hollow.
When ichigo was attempting to learn FGT he had to fight a fused version of Zangetsu and his hollow. But since they're not the same person how did they fuse? IT was because bach used Sklaverei to absorb all the retisu and reuse it. Much like Uryuu did in the soul society and that other guy did while fighting ichigo, it change their form and allowed them to use the powers that they absorbed. FGT much like a quincy vollstang when prefected may not have to take a users powers. FGT may be ichigos prematurely released quincy powers as it was a result of the fusing of his Quincy side and Hollow/Shinigami side
