Appearing in a puff of smoke I swiftly grab my rotating sword before thrusting it within mere centimeters of your nose, my other arm extended backwards, legs spaced apart. Welcome to Sword Art 101. I, am non other that your teacher, and by the time you leave these grounds you will be able to cut the stem off of a leaf. I ended while adjusting my body to a regular upwards stance, blade held in my right hand facing the ground. Now tell me all you now about kenjutsu, its users, and finish off by describing a kenjutsu move you know from the manga.

Shinobi that utilize Kenjutsu do so by blending their blade, fighting style, and sometimes chakra for certain techniques. Samurai from the land of iron have been known to utilize Kenjutsu as well. When I think of Kenjutsu, a few famous names pop up. Sasuke Uchiha, Zabuza Momochi and the rest of the 7 swordsman of the Mist, the jinchuriki Killer Bee, and Hayate Gecko, just to name a few. My favorite Kenjutsu technique would be Cloud Style: Crescent Moon Beheading. It's a quick technique that can be used to fend off multiple attacks at once, and it's fast, so I can see it saving me in the future.

Great! Regarded as a brand of bukijutsu, kenjutsu is an art that utilizes swords in battle. It can be combined with taijutsu, genjutsu, fuuinjutsu, ninjutsu, and primarily what the samurai's use, chakra flow. My training consists of performing the technique and/or filling out the template provided below. I will summarize the techniques while giving out pointers, feel free to ask any questions at any time. Try the technique out and fill out the template on your first jutsu. I finish by waving a single hand seal creating a clone that appears a distance before you. The clone upon being summoned charges towards you where it will then leap into the air and perform a powerful downwards lateral kick to the top of your skull when in range.
A simple short range technique where the user performs a few consecutive slashes before delivering a final powerful one to finish it off.
Sword Barrage Technique
Counter: There are several low ranking defense Jutsu of almost every element that can defend against this. Shields of water or earth, that pseudo lightning armor thing, the fire wall technique, etc. Also, any technique that puts distance between you and your opponent would work as well.
Adv.~ This technique is very versatile, even though it doesn't appear it. A strong tai user is closing in? This may back them up. Ten Ten barraging you with kunai and various other ninja tools? A barrage of sword slashes could protect you. Need to stall for time? This will surely occupy your opponent for at least a little bit.
Dis.~ Range is a big disadvantage, as it can only be used when the opponent is within sword range of you. While attacking, only your front side is protected from incoming attacks, leaving you vulnerable to a blind spot attack.
Trunks watches closely as his teacher forms a clone that begins to charge his way. Reading himself by placing his left foot ahead of his right by about shoulders length, gripping his blade with his left hand under his right, and lowering his center of gravity by slightly bending at the knees. Once the clone begins his jump, Trunks begins his barrage by sending a slash from the clones right shoulder (Trunks' right) diagonally across his chest and stomach ending at his left inner thigh, in order to use the clones upward momentum against him. Since the clone would then be heading downward because of the force of Trunks' blow, he would open his body and switch hands on the blade while sending an opposite strike to the one he just did, so from the clones lower right abdomen diagonally across to his upper left shoulder. Once the blade snaps off of his shoulder, Trunks would redirect his body position to what it was before to bring the blade back and deliver a powerful slash to the left side of the clone's neck.

If this is how it's going to be, then I think I will just find a new teacher. As I told you through VM, I've already finished C-Ranks. You movin like a girl bro, kenjutsu is like 5-6 techs max if your not in kumo. The official way of doing things is to post your previous training of the field in your first post if you had any. You did not, but instead, you posted it on my wall which gets vms throughout the day. Im sorry your not to the top of my priority list of life and forgot, but if you insist on finding another sensei then peace.
Or you can just post your previous training in this thread like normal way of operating. Idk whyd u wait till now to tell me that you have previous training smh
I thought I had sent it in my original messages to you, and I thought you had seen it before posting the first move. When I seen what it was, I checked and realized I hadn't let you know, which was my bad. I take responsibility for that. So I sent it to you in another VM after making my reply, thinking we could just move on from where I was after that. I thought you were intentionally making me repeat the first Jutsu again, knowing I was further. And it wasn't because of me thinking that I hold any sort of priority, I honestly thought you would have checked that VM first. Which is why assuming is bad. I apologize for my behavior and attitude.

(Bakuchi Tori Kuzu Oujou) – Gambling Bird Arrowroot Death
Counter: This move begins with striking the opponent with the handle of the sword followed by a few kicks, so Taijutsu. If I were to have this used against me, I would probably counter with a higher ranked Taijutsu move, interrupting it there, before the user has a chance to get into the Kenjutsu part of the technique. Also, a high ranking armor would definitely mess this one up, may even damage them depending on the armor used.
Adv.~ This technique can be used to lift someone in the air, making it great for combination attacks in a team battle. The last thing this move does is knock my opponent into an obstacle, and I have a custom that binds people to things once they are in place, so there's that combo to look forward too. All of the damage is blunt force, so if you need to take an opponent alive, they won't bleed out. Externally anyway.
Dis.~ Being borderline Taijutsu, using this in a Kenjutsu fight would be dangerous as sword > arms and legs. It isn't necessarily lethal. Like most Kenjutsu techniques, range is always an issue. It leaves plenty of opportunity to counter.
(Rensei Shinkuken) – Drilling Crimson Blade
Trunks unsheathes his blade and runs toward a clone. He channels his chakra into the blade as he takes each step to increase the power behind his attacks and to sharpen the cutting ability of his blade. As he comes into range, he plants his left foot hard and delivers an upward slash starting at the clones lower right rib cage, across his chest diagonally to the upper left shoulder area, lifting him into the air. With blinding fast movements, Trunks appears over the clone, and delivers a drilling swing with both hands from over his head. He would make contact with the clones sternum, impaling him as he was slammed toward the ground.

Good job bro. Now, can you take on my clones when they are serious? Defend yourself! I scream while waving 1 hand seal creating 2 clones 4m in front of you and a single clone 2m behind. The two clones yell as they touch a seal on their wrists both summoning swords simultaneously before rushing towards you one after another, changing their path from side to side, and first and second, in order to confuse you. In the meantime the clone behind you summons his own sword before dashing forwards in order to deliver a diagonal top right to bottom left slash across your exposed back dealing massive damage.
Quite simple to understand I hope. The dimensions of the slash matches that of the sword so the wave is quite narrow, but it makes up with its wideness.

Nice, a great technique that shows you what the addition of elements to kenjutsu can do in terms of diversity in blade strikes. This technique causes great damage and can also be used to stun a target as long as the sword remains within them and the current is held.
Finding himself surrounded by his teacher's clones, Trunks knows that he needs to act fast if he doesn't want injuries. Channeling his lightning chakra into his sword, Trunks slightly slides his right foot back a bit before extending his arms to hold his blade horizontally in front of him. In an instant, Trunks would begin violently rotating on his heels, heading back toward the single clone. He makes sure to slice the clone in at least three different parts, one low one mid and one high, to ensure that his actions would paralyze the clone. With this clone no longer a threat, and more room between himself and the other clones, Trunks redirects his attention to the pair who begin weaving in and out, making it difficult to target one specifically. That's when Trunks gets an idea, so he takes careful aim and channels his chakra into his sword. Once the clones are about to converge, Trunks sends a horizontal slash at the spot they are set to cross. A wave of red chakra rips out of the blade, tearing down its path before catching both clones simultaneously.

Nice, and here goes the last two techniques. I then wave a single hand seal summoning two clones that run towards you, both at full speed, although on different paths. The first clone runs straight towards you while the second flanks your direct right side only reaching a few moments after the first, and and just before he does he releases nagashi outwards from his body.
Channeling chakra into your sword it will begin to glow blue signaling its finish. The user will then jump into the air and rapidly spin while creating a circle around them that spins as well, cutting through the enemies around the user. It is a very useful kenjutsu tech that allows the user to strike 360 around them.
A very very very cool kenjutsu technique that shows off the usefulness of the art. It can be utilized when facing free flowing lightning techs that aim to paralyze the target. This paralysis can be negated by sticking the tip of the user's blade and into the ground allowing the current to have an exit.
As he watches onward, still breathing heavily from the last two techniques, Trunks lets out an exhausted chuckle as readies himself once more. He watches carefully as the clones charge toward him, going approximately the same speed and direction, until one begins to go into an arc. Trunks knows that since the quickest way between two points is a straight line, he needs to deal with the clone in front first. Channeling his chakra into blade, Trunks readies himself by widening his stance and bending at the knees. Once his blade begins to shift color, he jumps into the air and begins rotating violently in a clockwise direction. As he goes up, he would catch the clone coming for him with a series of horizontal slashes across the chest, neck, and head.
With this one no longer an issue, and finding himself falling from his jump, Trunks focuses his attention on the other clone. Trunks hearing reacts before his sight when he hears the crackling sounds of a lightning technique from his side. Thinking quickly, Trunks swings his sword directly down and stabs it into the ground. Feeling the unfocused lightning entering his body, Trunks allows it to pass through him harmlessly and into the ground below. Still gripping his sword, Trunks lands on one foot and uses it to launch himself toward the clone, freeing his blade from the ground, where he would send a barrage of slashes all throughout the clone's torso.
With this one no longer an issue, and finding himself falling from his jump, Trunks focuses his attention on the other clone. Trunks hearing reacts before his sight when he hears the crackling sounds of a lightning technique from his side. Thinking quickly, Trunks swings his sword directly down and stabs it into the ground.
