| Looks In his younger days, often seen in a worn out pants with no shoes, Zanda was mainly distinguished by his dark complexion and distinctive red irises. He stands fairly tall with a muscular build and his hair is shaved close on the back and sides, leaving a silver-colored crown on top. Zanda's right arm is adorned with a thin scar stretching entirely around the limb where the bicep meets the shoulder and, from that mark all the way down to the wrist, is nearly covered with a complex tattoo that is used for Fūinjutsu. The upper portion of his face is disfigured with a large X-shaped scar, which covers his clan's symbol often seen on Kaguya members heads, which stretches across his forehead and down over his eyes into his upper cheekbones. Due to his Coliseum days, Zanda only wears worn out shirts with no value in times of battle, due to his clan's bone ability which rips his clothes apart when activated. On peaceful days, Zanda usually wears sunglasses and a distinctive gold-colored jacket with sleeves emblazoned with a cross on the back. Additionally, he sports a pair of black slacks with a white cross on the left leg and a white stripe running down the right. The cross represents the radical group he use to be apart of, which helped him break out of the Coliseum. | Personality Zanda is a religious, decidedly brooding and angry man, almost totally consumed by hatred toward the people who enslaved him and made him fight in the Coliseum. Knowing full well that his actions go against many of the teachings of his religion, he still fashions himself an agent of God's divine punishment and takes out his fury on those who oppose his ideals. However, vestiges of his former life's kinder nature are prone to seep through. Even in the middle of his bloody vengeance, Zanda is willing to show compassion toward others, honoring last requests and offering a chance to pray before dying. He is reasonably wise and a skilled rhetorician, though his misguided thirst for vengeance clouds his greater judgment and leads his arguments in circles. Having had his people and his family stolen from him, Zanda sympathizes with those who care for their loved ones and looks after those who have lost their place in the world. Additionally, he is very protective of his surviving kinsmen and takes all their words of encouragement or chastisement to heart. Although quite harsh and cruel, Zanda has an affinity for cute animals, similarly to Juugo. |

History
Zanda doesn't really know where his life started. All he can recall is waking up in a cage distraught as he saw his newly acquired scar on his face from the reflection of a puddle, made from the tears of a young scared boy. He couldn't remember much from his past, and his only reminder of his parents were from the recurring nightmares of them being murdered. At a young age Zanda was enslaved and forced to work for a group of mysterious people who knew deadly jutsu and called themselves Cezar. Zanda attempted many escapes that only lead him to be recaptured and tortured to the point where death would seemed like a great option of escape from his world of malevolence. During one of his escapes Zanda accidentally utilized his clan's bone abilities which lead to the death of one of the higher ranking group members. At that point he rediscovered a little piece of himself that was lost, and instead of killing him, the members of Cezar exploited his abilities and entered him in money deathmatches in an underground place called the Coliseum. He was trained with other gladiators, owned by Cezar, in harsh unfavorable conditions that lead most of their captives to their end without stepping in the ring.
Zanda, known as Scar at the time, grew up with the remaining gladiators and they became the only family he had. It pained him to see the death of one of his brothers in a Coliseum match which lead Zanda to agree to multiple fights at a time in an attempt to kill off as much as the opposing team as possible. He grew colder and more skilled every time he had to kill a man, who dreamed for the same survival as him, with his bare hands and hated the people of the Coliseum for making them do it. An unnatural hatred grew for these people and killing them became his obsession, an obsession that soon turned into a barbaric impulse. After killing his umteenth opponent, Zanda unleashed his inner demons and killed almost every person that happened to be in the Coliseum at that time. Gladiator and slave master alike. Only few survived and escaped to tell of the horrific events that took place that day. An event that can never be forgotten.Scar strayed around the world looking for inner peace and forgiveness for what he had done. He found what he was looking for at a church in a small and peaceful village. They embraced Scar and taught him their ways of their God. They told him that God was willing to forgive anyone who repented for their sins, and when Scar did, he choose to go by the name of Zanda. He tried to replace all the murders he did with good acts which lead him to believe that his biggest act of goodness would be when he finds the remaining groups of the Coliseum and kill them. Even though killing is against his religious, he thinks of himself as a Angel of Justice who must dirty his hands for the greater good. While searching for these groups he learned all of the basic 5 elemental jutsu, excelling at wind and fire, and other art styles of jutsu as well. He traveled wide and far on his conquest of justice and even stumbled across two hidden lands of summoning animals. The Lesser Birds of Paradise which reside in a Tropical Jungle, and Mount Myōboku, the land of Toads. Zanda loved animals and he grew a bond with these animals that lead him to become a signe of their respective contracts. After spending some time in their lands he left to continue his conquest.

Wind Specialty
Defense is the best offense, Zanda seems to think, and with this in mind he trained himself to learn wind style until it became his specialty. He studied the art to its pinnacle allowing him to utilize all techniques with 1 hand seal. He can also utilize higher caliber jutsu of this style compared to normal ninja. Shikotsumyaku being weak to lightning style jutsu, Zanda can counter with ease, leaving his opponent with limited openings.
Fire Specialty
Shikotsumyaku also being weak to wind style jutsu, Zanda studied fire style to the best of his abilities. He couldn't completely master the concept of fire style like he could with wind but he has enough skill of the art to perform hand seals faster than a normal ninja can. He can also utilize higher caliber jutsu of this style compared to normal ninja.

Due to the constant removing and regeneration of bones and skin of the body and also the ability to increase the density of their bones to one stronger than steel.
Taijutsu
Zanda's love for hand to hand combat has allowed him to gain tremendous skill in taijutsu. Having a love of that art, Zanda puts his body through great workouts continuously without rest making his muscles adapt to the constant the strain by strengthening itself, thus giving Zanda the ability to physically perform at his best throughout every battle. He has also gained a fluid motion when it comes to Taijutsu techniques. His very athletic build also allows him to move at a slightly faster pace than normal shinobi. He isn't satisfied with only having a specialty in Taijutsu and plans to further his skill to the point he can call himself a master.
Lesser Birds of Paradise Contract
Zanda has visited the secrete land of the LBoP, where he bonded with King Phaze, who allowed him to sign the LBoP contract giving him access to the birds on there. He also has the ability to train new birds for battle, and the access to learn their hidden jutsu. His huge love for animals makes him hesitant to call any of the contracted birds into battle, leaving the Lesser Birds of Paradise as a last resort. He does however reverse summon to the secrete land when he can in order to create new jutsu with the birds on his free time. The Lesser Birds still having room for improvement in battle often address Zanda with great respect, giving him superiority, on the battlefield.
Toads
Zanda has stumbled upon Mount Myōboku, where he bonded with the many toads there and their Elder Seage , who allowed him to sign the Toad contract giving him access to certain warrior toad when needed. He hasn't fully acquired battle experience with most of the Toads on the contract so he often visits Mount Myōboku for training. Even though he has a great love for animals he has no problem summoning Toads to battle, unlike the animals of his other contract, due to the vast battle skills they carry. Many of his right arm tattoos are designated for the Toads on the contract allowing him to quickly summon them to battle. The Toads and Zanda have a mutual respect towards each other leading them to address each other with equality on the battlefield.
Fūinjutsu
Zanda also has pre-written scrolls for the "Fire/Water/Wind/Earth/Lightning Sealing Method" and pre-written tags attached to his pants that he can utilize during battle. One of his many right arm tattoos happen to be the kanji for "Weapons" that he can activate with the Generic Sealing Technique, allowing him to summon a variety of weapons on the ground in front of himself or suspended in the air in front of himself, in order to utilize in battle. He has a great interest in Fūinjutsu which lead him to experiment in creating new ones everyday.
