i think zabuza takes this, yamato MIGHT be able to track him but even if he does yamato hasnt shown great offence with his wood style, mostly defence, and his defence is useless if he cant sense zabuza. also zabuza's giant vortex jutsu isnt an easy jutsu to dodge

Dude yeah he is. Yamato is underestimated badly. He's sure as hell better than Asuma. Rewatch his fight against Fudo and his epic water technique he used to fuse with Naruto wind technique against Kakuzu. Yamato just needs more fights to prove my point
