I think Zabuza beats Tsunade because of his hidden mist jutsu and the speed of his silent killing. Tsunade can summon Katsuyu but i don't think the slug can do much to help Tsunade in the mist especially in the few seconds it would take zabuza to cut off her head with silent killing.

Poor Zabuza he was a good shinobi i wish he had made it to part 2 alive.

Summon katsuya to cover the battle feild, chase after zabuza stick to him and spit acid in his face

Katsuya could also absorb zabuza and crush him. Giving the size and speed advantage katsuya alone could solo. mist has no use on tsunade or katsuya tsunade could just punch the ground causing a shoke wave AND makes everything within a wide radius shatter (makes zabuza loose footing in mist)

Zabuza better hope he doesn't miss with Kubikiribōchō because decapitation is literally the only way he's going to best Tsunade. Given that Tsunade could potentially disorganize his nervous system should he choose to press forward with CQC, that she can alter the landscape with her strength and that Katsuyu is essentially immortal in this fight, I can't see anything other than this ending in a win for Godaime.

What Omnipotent said. he is a better debater than me so Shaneyy, don't ask me for a debate. Talk to him and he has the answer as to why Tsunade wins.

Any way now that I think about it, the mist doesn't obscure your vision completely and high level ninjas should be able to react based on other senses so Tsunade can utilize them to react and counter Zabuza accordingly. Alternatively, Tsunade could sent mini Katsuyu clones on the battlefield to find Zabuza.

She could also constantly punch the ground creating a massive crater. If Zabuza comes near her, he will get tripped due to the shock waves or because of the aforementioned crater. Regeneration tanks most of what Zabuza has to offer except for decapitation but Tsunade, a kage level shinobi and Sannin should be able to react fast enough to not get decapitated completely. Also, decapitation is much harder than one punch.

Sakura was only able to notice him because she wasn't right behind him like the old man was. Plus I think Zabuza underestimated Sakura and the old man because Sakura was just a useless genin and the old man was nothing. When Zabuza is against more formidable shinobi like chounin+, he's more serious

Sure, Zabuza can water down the acid with his jutsu. But doesn't his jutsu besides mist take an obnoxiously large amount of seals that he probably won't complete before the acid reaches him?
And with mist not being a problem here, and him being bested by beginning part 1 Kakashi in taijutsu how exactly does he hin win?

Water prison jutsu isn't even a big threat to Tsunade, as the water seems to be magically breatheable as Kakashi was speaking while in the water. And while it was so dense that Kakashi couldn't move a muscle, Tsunade's strength feats are on an entirely different level than Kakashi's. Beyond that, Zabuza needs to keep his hand in the jutsu. Which means with water serving as a conductor he would be screwed if Tsunade decided to turn her chakra into electricity.
Once Katsuyu is summoned, he stands no chance. And even without Katsuyu, he stands like a 1% lucky shot chance.
