Anyway, I don't see how Tsunade would counter the mist and be able to keep up with Zabuza.

Tsunade - don't underestimate her, we just saw her decimate a prepared Madara with just a punch. Zabuza is great but not even he can stand against a sannin. Honestly all Tsunade would really have to do is summon Katsuyu to guarantee a win.

EDIT: Just saw no summons but my point stands. Oro with his sword couldn't take her down so I doubt Zabuza would fare any better, her healing is just too advanced.

Katsuyu is restricted, and Zabuza has complete advantage once the hidden mist is up.
