Location: Area where Zabuza fought Team 7 the first time.

Knowledge: Basic manga knowledge

Starting distance: Zabuza is hiding in the trees waiting to assassinate Mei.

Who wins? Will this at least be a good fight?

Alright no way it'd be a stomp
Yes it would. The moment he reveals himself to her, Acid Mist melts him. If he uses Hiding in Mist Jutsu, she responds by filling the area with her own Acid Mist, he won't even realize the change considering he has no intel and won't be able to tell that Acid Mist has been released in his own mist.

I was actually talking to Icelerate about this and he brought up a great counter to an argument like this.

Mei's mist is acidic, right? Water added or mixed with acidic substances decreases it's pH level, making it less acidic and near harmless.

If Zabuza's mist hinders her acidic mist by effecting the pH level, her acidic mist is useless.

Then Mei'd just have to switch over to using Lava and Suiton to defeat Zabuza, which would be simple considering her is far above his and her Lava will kill him on impact.

There's also the possibility of simply adding more mist. Not to mention she can .

1) MEi has a hidden swordman on her team so she'll very knowledgeable on them

2) She's the leader of the village the consistently produced hidden swordsmen, so she's very knowledgeable on them.

3) Zabuza is very known in mist village, for trying to kill yugito, killing those genin, etc and known there and other places for his 'silent killing' methods, so she's very knowledgeable on him

4) Hidden mist is in her arsenal, so I'll assume with 99% certainty that she can fight through it. why would she have a jutsu that just hinders her?

5) She has boil release which is an enhanced hidden mist, leading me to believe even more that she can fight in mist

6) She's the kage of the hidden mist village, which is often covered in mist, so i'll assume even more that she knows how to fight through mist.

7) Mei Became Kage after Zabuza died I believe(not too sure on this), so he may have quite limited knowledge on her.

Off those 7 points, I'll comfortably state that mei has quite good knowledge on zabuza's skills, along with being able to at least defend herself during his deadlist technique "Hidden Mist: Silent killing technique". Ontop of this, her suiton completely dwarfs that of zabuza's, along with her other deadly jutsu. Therefore, I will go with Mei 10/10.

Mei wins Low diff imo.

Alright, but by the time he realises it's acidic won't he be dead? Then there's what KG said. Zabuza can't win this.
I definitely agree Mei wins this. I was just curious if Zabuza could put up a good fight.

Btw KidGamer, her Suiton isn't far above Zabuza's. Yeah Zabuza hasnt shown to use Water Dragon Jutsu without a source but I mean, he has been shown to only fight with a nearby source, it's not a really fair judgement. It's obvious tho that he can use suiton without a source, knowing that fodder mist chuunin were shown to use Water Wall as well.

If this is an assasination mission and not a 1v1 fight then Zabuza could acomplish it...

If this is a 1v1 fight, Mei could use her own acid mist on Zabuza's mist, and then use lava style on the floor so Zabuza's feets get melted

Science never normally applies to the Narutoverse. Fire melts ice in reality, but in the Narutoverse it had no effect. Similarly, fire melts paper but again different outcome in the Narutoverse. Just because it happens in reality does not guarantee it happens in NV.

Mei wins easily.
