Zabuza is underrated, I think Zabuza will win. Hidan has like 3 jutsus.

Zabuza would win with no difficulty. He is better at kenjutsu and faster than hidan. The only way hidan coul win is if zabuza had a katana instead of a cleaver, then zabuza would stab him and hidan could surprise him when he let's his guard down and either kill him straight or get his blood.

But zabuza can't stab with the kubikiribocho, he slices people, hidan will be either decapitated or cleaved in half, and he won't be able to attack after that.

Zabuza wins with no difficulty, hidan won't even touch zabuza.

It would all probably depend on knowledge from Zabuza's side. If he knew beforehand about Hidan's abilities, he would probably use his Silent Killing technique from the bat, meaning Hidan would have a slim to non chance of ever getting a hit on Zabuza, unless he went ballistic and ran around swinging his blade randomly and with a helluvah lot of luck hit Zabuza despite all odds... (Come to think about it, isn't that actually his ordinary fighting-style?)
But well, if Zabuza had no knowledge about his abilities, and went into direct swordplay with Hidan, as we all know, one cut and it's more or less over, unless he figures out his ability in the last second and blows him away from the circle with a Water Dragon Missile or something... Though that'd damage him too, it'd be better than instant death from Hidan's curse.

true with water clones he will figure out hidan isnt mortal. then he can just silent kill his head off. zabuza really is quite smart. he outsmarted kakashi on two occasions. and he wields his blade with much greater ease and speed than hidan's scythe. both are quite reliant on killing blows and taking out their opponent as quickly as possible. both were about equal to kakashi in taijutsu.

Not much is known about wether hidan has ninjustu but we all now how fast zabuza can activate the mist or a water prison.either one of theese would leave hidan incapatated and unable to do a thing leaving zabuza to slice and dice.

dont know how much chakra zabuza has, but i dont think he can just keep on hammering hidan with move after move for a long time since those moves wont necessarily kill hidan. If he switches to ken(sword) hidan looks skilled with his reaper and i dont think it'll be difficult to draw blood from zabuza when hes already tired

Zabuzu for all the reasons mentioned. Hidan is one of, if not the worst, strategists in the series. Also if they clashed weapons, I'm pretty sure that big cleaver would cut clean through the scythe.

ok Zabuza easily, he puts up mist, distracts hidan with water clones then he dacapitates him. hidan only has his taijutsu to rely on prior to his immortal jutsu, if he cant see then that means no taijutsu thus hidan looses
