What? Dude come on man think through this match up.



Asuma has shown to use focused Fuuton. He concentrates it unlike Temari who uses it wide ranges. Asuma has shown to use Dust Cloud, a laser type Fuuton that is long and narrow. Dust Cloud would not blow the mist away, since it's concentrated, it will just create a narrow hole in the mist. The mist will then fill it back in quite shortly. Due to Asuma not being able to blow away all the mist, he will fall to Water Clone feints because not even Kakashi with Sharingan could avoid them. Asuma's reflexes are definitetly not on par with Part 1 Kakashi's, not with his Sharingan.

Even if the mist was blown away, Asuma would still have to deal with Zabuza's large scale Suiton. Zabuza could stall with Water Clones, giving him the time to perform the Suiton and Asuma will not be able to easily avoid them. Water Dragon Jutsu and Giant Vortex Jutsu are huge techs. If they hit Asuma, Zabuza can finish it by capturing him in a Water Prison.

Asuma's Katon here is basically useless.
