I would like to start off this debate by saying Zabuza is fodder and anyone who disagrees is obviously a Zabuza fan.

Silent Killing's Futility

Now, Zabuza is known for his 'Silent Killing'. Let me explain why Silent Killing is absolutely impossible in this location, and let me point out a few misconceptions people have regarding it. Yes, there's a Mist which counters the Sharingan, but that does not mean there's no vision within the Mist. I don't know where this notion came from, probably from another Zabuza wanker who is trying to make him go from fodder to high-tier fodder level. Here

we see that the Mist barely hides the Trees tat are very away, and the two people several meters from one another see each other perfectly fine. When Mei used it against Madara

the Kage's could all see and locate Madara just fine. No diff might I add, there's like a mini-Mist which has no relevance. Zabuza has better chances of concealing himself if he decides to smoke a Cigar and puff out the smoke in front of him. It blinds the opponent at the beginning of the jutsu

but there's clearly an image that you can see behind the mist for quite some time before he completely disappears, so Darui would have no trouble locating him at that point. Now let's look at how it requires Zabuza to stand still with one hand in the air and another using the seal

So at this point, we have clearly realised that the Mist is not as effective as people try to make it out to be, barring the initial point of the Jutsu. I'd like to add another thing while I'm shitting on this fodder jutsu. Since this is a water location every step would make sound. Water is water, if you're running at high speed sound is definitely going to be made and splashes occur to signigy this

Now that we have established that it takes time to make the hand seals while standing still, and we have established that it also takes time for him to completely conceal himself, let's look at Darui's feats.

Darui's Shunshin and Ranton

Darui has immense speed, far beyond anything Zabuza would be capable of handling after the power scaling that Kishi implemented in Part 2. And on top of that, he's still immensely fast in P2 levels. We have seen him blitz Kinkaku and Ginkaku [

]. Hell that '2' is such an insane feat that it should be all I need to post to convey Darui's superiority. He throws his sword [

] and it's intercepted and thrown away, WHILE Kin is throwing it away, Kinkaku gets nailed with Ranton, and before the Ranton even explodes Zabuza can cut Gin and seal him [

]. So literally all Darui has to do is start the fight with a huge Ranton [

] which travels fast and is guided. Please remember that he's doing this while Shunshin'ing [

] as it doesn't require him to be momentary. And before you tell me Kin and Gin lack feats, please do remember that they are Kage level, meaning other Kage levels are unlikely to be able to blitz them. Then there's this feat

where Darui literally keeps up with v1 Ay. Inb4 it's not a real feat because EZ said so. Sorry, but Kishi>you, and what was portrayed was clearly understood (not by you doe). Darui's speed is tremendously beyond Zabuza's. Now that we know this, Darui using his Ranton while he's using Shunshin will clearly force Zabuza to stop any Mist he's attempting.

Black Lightning

Now he greatest threat to Zabuza's life is not Ranton, it's Black Lightning. Now we have already seen that Black Lightning is conducted over a large range by Water

. All Darui needs to do is use this technique once he's Shunshin'd nearby and drop it into the water immediately. I severely doubt that the Mist is up, especially since Darui would've started the fight with Shunshin>Ranton. At best Zabuza has put up some Mist and is lying on the water after being hit by Ranton which he couldn't have evaded in that stand still position, or tried to evade and prematurely ended the Hidden Mist but got hit because he had no intel on Ranton being guided. Black Lightning only needs to be directed at the Water and he'd get K.O.'d. No way he's evading it if he's there, especially when electricity is conducted at a decent fraction of the speed of light. Another thing, assuming that it ever gets to CQC, Darui can easily use on of his Suiton's, which he can create so fast that he can even intercept MS Sasuke, and catch Zabuza there/end him by following up with a Raiton. Then there's also the fact that he can use this defensively instead of offensively to make a 360 degree barrier around himself. And yes, this is in fact possible given this is the same jutsu that Kakashi used. Here's the DB of this jutsu

Main text

Enemy attacks are completely intercepted by a fence of water blew out and raised from below with tremendous might! For the water fence is blew out in such a way as to draw a circle, it makes for a defense without openings. It is also possible for the caster to control the amount of water and duration at will.

Pretty simple tbh, and let's not forget Darui did this technique without a water supply. Thus this technique can serve for defensive purposes too, ie to counter attacks from behind.

Kenjutsu

I don't think it's close in CQC. Darui shits all over him if Darui can catch him in CQC (Mist is not absolute as I have proven). Zabuza would attempt to deflect Darui's Sword and then Darui would simply channel Raiton into it and cut it cleanly in half, which means Zabuza is dead as the sword keeps going. Another thing that's good to note is Darui's skill in Shurikenjutsu. We have seen that Darui can predict a sword's location and hit it with a Raiton enhanced Shuriken to cut through it

. This puts Zabuza at a severe disadvantage given he cannot channel Raiton, Futon or even chakra into his sword. Mind you, Ay and Cee are so confident of his Shurikenjutsu that they gambld Bee's life on Darui hitting the Shuriken without knowing how fast Kisame's striking speed is.
