Hell yeah she's proficient with Suiton. Zabuza has a 4/5 for hand seals in the data book which is the second highest in the Akatsuki. I think Kishi made the tech have a lot of signs to show how well Kakashi can copy signs.



I know but even though it's speculation, I think it's highly probable that Zabuza can make around the same size of Suiton Mei can. I mean, Zabuza revolves around Suiton, Mei doesn't. She has other KG to focus on so it would be understandable if Zabuza was a better Suiton user. Mei is still stronger than him though

You may be right. We haven't seen all of Zabuza's capabilities so there is a possibility he can. But members on NB forums seem to only accept manga facts so unless you provide a manga page of Zabuza actually doing it, many people will not accept it. Which is a bit stupid tbh for example when i say Mei can use Earth Styles and Fire Styles which are advanced or basic, it often gets turned down when Mei has those natures but has never shown them.

And am i making the mistake in thinking that Suiton is Mei's affinity? She is the Mizukage and has shown excellent profiency with Suiton on two occasions, so i wouldn't call her fodder at Suiton.

The thing is that while Mei does have the ability to use doton and katon, we don't know her proficiency with those elements so we can't give her random katon or doton jutsus to use. On other hand, we know exactly what jutsus Zabuza can use and since we've seen fodders use them without a suiton source, it is safe to assume Zabuza can too.

The only problem I see is that it would take a bit more chakra to produce water to use water jutsus than with a pre-existing source.

Mist is Suiton's gas state. It's not actual water u can feel, thus gas state. But that doesn't matter, we both agree Zabuza can make his own suiton
