Yumichika is ashamed of his Zanpukto but does this really make sense. I mean, fair enough, he said it is because it is not a physical Zanpukto but it is very powerful and considering it absorbs peoples life force, doesn't that make it the same thing as something that slices and dices, I just don't think it makes sense.

All 11th division member has combat type zanpakutos, Yumichika is only one who has kido type zanpakuto. And according to members of said division, kido types zanp. are stupid... That's why Yumichika wanted to hide his real zanpakuto.

I don't feel like it matters to him anymore now that kenpAchi can use his zanpakutou like the other captains. I bet the bankai for his sword is a very powerful and useful one too
