Yugito Akkipuden Episode 36: Helping Hand
WARNING: All Jutsu are in Japanese with the English Version in parenthesis.
Author's Note: Yugito is engaged in a heated battle against the Kyuubi in attempt to control his power as her father did! Meanwhile, the Akatsuki begin constructing their army to fight against the Allied Shinobi Forces once again!
~Unknown Location a great distance away from the Takigakure
Approaching from over the trees came three people on one metallic sheet of metal. It was Aijō and she was escorting Kabuto and Seiji back to the hideout. She landed the sheet of metal onto the grass outside of a large cave. Kabuto and Seiji stepped off of the platform and Aijō walked in front of them, leading them into the cave. The cave entrance was nothing more than a long tunnel with several turns. It was lit by a torch that is mounted on the wall every 20 or so meters. After navigating through the long entrance tunnel, the three entered a massive room that had the Gedō Mazō directly across from the entrance. The room was as large as a small town and the Gedō Mazō's head still had plenty of space above it, even though it was sitting with its legs crossed.
Aijō and the others were on a ledge, however, and the ledge was about 40 feet above the bottom of the floor that the Gedō Mazō was sitting and there were different entrances along the wall around the circular ledge that led to different areas of the cave. Aijō began leading the two around the ledge and after passing 3 different entrances, they went into the fourth. At the end of the long tunnel was a wooden door. Aijō gave the door three distinctive knocks.
? (from within the room): Enter.
She opened the door and led Kabuto and Seiji enter first. She came in last and closed the door behind herself. In the room medium sized room was a bed, a fireplace and scrolls next to the bed. There was also another door in the back of the room which must've been the closet. In the center of the room was a stone chair and someone was sitting in it with the back of the chair facing the door. Aijō walked over to the man in the chair and faced Kabuto and Seiji.
Kabuto: So, I hear that my services are needed.
?: Yes, you are correct, Kabuto Yakushi.
Kabuto: That voice… There's no way… Are you-?!
The stone chair turned around as it was on a spinning platform and he faced Kabuto.
Kabuto: Itachi Uchiha? But how? You're…
Tendō (Itachi): I'm a phantom, an apparition, a ghost. But it is not important how I am in the world of the living.
Kabuto: You were always the crafty one. I'm surprised you've managed to resurrect. And with only one Rinnegan?
Tendō: This Rinnegan is the other that Obito Uchiha didn't use. Better known as the eye that Madara had during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Author's Note: From now on, the Tendō Path will be referred to as Itachi. For those who don't fully understand, the Tendō Path is Itachi Uchiha's body. But Itachi has none of his abilities anymore, only the abilities the host grants him.
Itachi: Aijō, you've completed your mission. I'm very impressed.
Aijō: Thank you.
Itachi: Did it go smoothly as intended?
Aijō: Yes. The Hokage was away from the village. It was a perfect time to strike and retrieve our target.
Itachi: Excellent. As for you…
He looked at Seiji. He nudged his head to the left, signaling him to leave. Seiji slowly turned around, opened the door, exited, and closed it behind himself.
Kabuto: He doesn't talk too much, does he?
Itachi: He's under my Genjutsu. He doesn't have the ability to speak and he's completely under my control.
Kabuto: Hmph. Impressive. I guess I shouldn't expect any less from you, Itachi. But what's the real reason you went out of your way to free me from my incarceration?
Itachi: I need your help.
Kabuto: Really? You? Need my help?
Itachi: It's ironic, isn't it? I stopped you during the Fourth Great Ninja War and now I need your help in the Sixth.
Kabuto: The Sixth? But didn't the Fifth Great Ninja War just end?
Itachi: Yes, but the Gokage are stubborn. They won't hand over the Jinchūriki, so we'll take them by force. But, I'll need your help in creating a minimum of 80,000 clones of Zetsu.
Kabuto: Zetsu? Wasn't he killed during the War years ago?
Itachi: The original, yes. But the Allied Shinobi Forces failed to destroy every one of his clones. I have one clone remaining and I need you to duplicate him approximately 80,000 times.
Kabuto: Hm… Do you know what I need to do that?
Itachi: The DNA of Hashirama Senju.
He reached into the sleeve of his Akatsuki cloak and pulled out a four inch long tube filled with blood. He handed the tube to Aijō and she walked it over to Kabuto. Kabuto received the tube and studied it.
Itachi: Hashirama's cells are now in your hands. Do you have any further questions?
Kabuto: Just one. What do I get in return?
Itachi: Ah, I expected as much. Aijō.
She walked over to the shelf near the bed and picked up a white scroll. She walked back to Itachi and stood next to his chair. He held out his right hand and Aijō handed him the scroll.
Itachi: In this scroll is Orochimaru's DNA formula.
Kabuto's eyes opened wide.
Itachi: I managed to seal it away in this scroll and all you have to do is a series of hand seals to activate it. Once you do that proper hand seals place your hand on the seal on this scroll, Orochimaru's DNA will fuse with yours and you can obtain your perfect body once again.
Kabuto (thinking): I… can be… perfect again…?
Itachi: So, what do you say? Will you help the Akatsuki crush the Allied Shinobi Forces and control the world with the Jūbi's power?
He looked down and thought briefly. He chuckled and then looked back to Itachi.
Kabuto: Hmph. I'll start immediately.
Itachi: Excellent. Aijō, let the others know that war is taking place soon.
Aijō: As you wish.
She walked to the door and exited the room.
Itachi: Before we set everything in motion, you and I need to have a little talk.
Kabuto pushed his glassed back on to his face.
~Yugito's Mind
Yugito was standing before the Kyuubi and cracked her knuckles. Kurama glared at her, trying to anticipate her next move. She dashed at the Kyuubi and jumped at him. She held the "Ram" hand seal.
Yugito (thinking): It's been a while… but… Fūton: Atsugai! (Wind Style: Pressure Damage)
She compressed a tornado-like mass until it reached a very high density level and then released it. The wind released was powerful enough to cause Kurama to stumble back a few steps. As he recovered, he looked forward to see that she had created a clone. She was creating her signature wind style attack. Kurama suddenly looked back to see another one of her clones were about to rain down a Rasengan onto him.
Yugito (clone): Senpō: Chō Ōdama Rasengan! (Sage Art: Super Odama Rasengan)
Kurama: Urgh!
He quickly gathered his tails in front of him and blocked the enormous Rasengan. He swiped his tails at her and blew away the clone, causing it to poof away.
Kurama (thinking): She's not on is level, but she's very persistent like him!
He remembered that she was creating a Rasengan behind him and turned to see that she had made a Rasen Javelin.
Yugito: Senpō Fūton: Chōōdama Rasen Jaberin! (Sage Art: Super Odama Rasen Javelin)
With the help of one of her Sage clones, she got a running start and threw the gargantuan sized Rasen Javelin at Kurama. Unable to move his tails fast enough, he was forced to clap his hands together and catch the rod of the Rasen Javelin before the point could touch his fur. The Rasen Javelin was spinning at a high velocity in his hands.
Kurama (thinking): Damn! It's spinning so fast that it feels like it's burning my palms!
He spotted a Rasengan at the very center of the Javelin rod and the Rasengan expanded to the size of a Massive Rasengan.
Kurama (thinking): WHAT?!
The Rasengan exploded against Kurama, sending him sliding across the water. As he was sliding, he felt that something was being pulled. Yugito had six Sage clones and they were all pulling out his chakra and the Rasen Javelin's explosion forced him away.
Kurama: Urghh!
Yugito: PULL!
Kurama (thinking): That little-!
He began having flashbacks to his fight against Naruto.
Kurama (thinking): This power… Hrgh!
The explosion of the Rasen Javelin expired and he managed to stop himself. Just as Yugito was about to successfully pull out Kurama's chakra, she felt a strange sensation. It felt heavy… heavy with misery and despair. Her clones disappeared and she dropped to one knee.
Yugito: What… What is this… It's cold…
She blinked and one of her eyes turned from blue to red. Her Sage Mode had worn off as well.
Yugito: My-My head… It hurts…
The ground began shaking and once she looked up, Kurama was standing over her. Using his index finger and thumb, he picked her up by her shoulder blade length, red hair.
Yugito: Let me go!
He laughed at her.
Kurama: Ha, ha, HA! What you are feeling is my inner hatred. It proves to be too much for you to handle. Turns out you don't have as much heart of Naruto and the Fourth combined after all.
Yugito: I said let go!
She pulled a kunai out of her kunai pouch and cut her hair off. In one slash, she cut her hair to barely shoulder length. It was as short as Sakura's hair 27 years ago. She landed on the surface of the water on her back. She tried crawling back to gain distance and a chance to think.
Kurama: Stupid girl! It's over for you!
She looked back and saw that Kurama was about to stab her with his razor sharp nails. She curled into the fetal position. Moments before impact, she heard a grasping noise as if someone caught something very heavy. She slowly looked in front of her and all she could see where three things: spiky yellow hair, a black headband and an orange haori with black flame motifs on the edges. Kurama was shocked.
Kurama: You..?!
Yugito (thinking): There's no way… Is that…?
The man pushed Kurama's had away. He turned around to Yugito and held out a hand to her.
?: Hey, did you plan on laying there all day?
He gave her a smile. Her eyes grew wide.
Yugito: DAD!
Kurama (thinking): Naruto… But how?
She jumped up and hugged Naruto tightly and he hugged her back. As she hugged him, her eye went back to its normal blue. Naruto was in his Sage Mode.
Yugito: But Dad… how did you-?
Naruto: We'll talk in a bit. Right now, we've gotta deal with Kurama.
Yugito: Kurama? That's the Kyuubi's name?
Naruto: Oh yeah. I never told you his real name. Sorry about that.
Yugito: It's okay. Dad… how did you beat him?! He's too much.
Naruto: I needed my Mom's help to beat him. Seems like you can use my help.
Yugito: But I thought grandma…
Naruto: She is… and was back then. Dad was able to set it up to where whenever I confronted Kurama, she could come see me. He did that for me, and that's what I did for you so you could see your mother.
Yugito's eyes grew wide.
Yugito: That-That was you!? When I beat the Sixth Mizukage-
Naruto: You beat the Sixth Mizukage?!
Kurama roared and looked up. He began forming a large Bijūdama (Tailed Beast Ball).
Naruto: What the hell is he doing?! Kurama!
Naruto quickly did the "Bird" hand seal and then clap his hands together. Two enormous, red torii that clamped down onto the back of Kurama's neck and onto his back, immobilizing him. Once the torii seals clamped down on him, the Bijūdama disappeared. Nine more fell from the sky and clamped down onto all 9 of his tails. Naruto and Yugito walked up to him.
Naruto: Kurama, what the hell do you think you're doing? The size of that Bijūdama was enough to destroy a large village.
Kurama: I'm not going to lose to a little girl!
Naruto: She's not a little girl. She's my daughter. And if you intended on killing her, then I'll fight you right here and now.
Kurama was silence for a few moments.
Naruto: What's wrong with her controlling your power? I know you don't like being controlled, but you let me control it. So what's the difference between her and me?
Kurama: She isn't you! She'll never be you or anyone else in your family. She may look like Kushina, but she's a worm compared to her. I will not be controlled by someone so weak!
Naruto: You and I both know that power isn't everything. It's all about the will to defend those you love and everyone that depends on you.
Kurama: Who needs her to defend them?! She's too weak to save anyone!
Naruto: I can think of one.
Naruto looked back at her and smiled. She guessed he was talking about Hayate and she looked down and started blushing.
Naruto: Alright, Yugito. You have to do this part alone.
Yugito: Huh?
Naruto: Pull his chakra out. Once you do that, you've beaten him. I've already done the hard part.
Yugito: Okay…
She began walking towards Kurama.
Kurama: HRRRRGGHH!
Naruto and Yugito both flinched. Unimaginably, Kurama powered his way out of the torii seals, even freeing his trapped tails. He then used his nine tails as daggers and began trying to stab them with his tails. Yugito and Naruto both evaded successfully.
Naruto: How did he break free of the torii seals? Ah well. It doesn't matter.
Yugito closed her eyes and she entered her Sage mode again.
Naruto (thinking): She's mastered Sennin Mōdo…
She created a shadow clone and began forming a Rasengan in her right hand. Naruto created a shadow clone and began forming a Rasengan in his left hand as well.
Naruto: Alright, Yugito! Let's do this together!
Yugito: Okay!
They put the Rasengans close together and they began fusing together to make a rather large Rasengan. The two ran towards Kurama and leaped into the air together.
Kurama (thinking): A collaboration technique?
The two rained down a Rasengan the size of Pein's Chibaku Tensei and Kurama put his tails in front of it.
Naruto and Yugito: Senpō: Kyūkyoku Rasengan! (Sage Art: Ultimate Rasengan)
The gargantuan Rasengan collided with Kurama's tails. The Rasengan began overpowering the tails and when it detonated, it sent Kurama sliding back across the water again. Yugito had the clone she created to help with the Rasengan create a dozen Sage clones and pulled out a large portion of Kurama's chakra. Naruto and Yugito landed next to each other.
Her clones poofed away and the red chakra began flowing into her. Naruto looked to her and saw what was happening. Once the chakra fully went into her, she lit up in a bright orange-yellow cloak of chakra. She had six magatama beads around her neck and two very distinctive hair-like horns on the front of her hair along with a swirl design that greatly resembled the Uzumaki clan's symbol; not to mention her now short hair had changed to the same color of the chakra cloak. Her chakra shroud/cloak is also covered in various black lines and spiral patterns.
Naruto's face lit up in satisfaction as Yugito looked at her arms in disbelief.
Yugito: Dad, I look like you did with the Kyuubi's chakra around you!
Naruto: Yugito… You did it. You did it!
Naruto ran over to her and hugged her tightly and spun her around. He put her down and admired her chakra cloak. The resemblance to his cloak when he was alive was incredible. He heard Kurama recovering in the distance and looked back at him.
Naruto: You… Playtime is over.
Having his chakra ripped from him, Kurama looked anorexic. Naruto did the "Tiger", "Snake" and then held the "Bird" hand seal. An oversized torii seal rained down and clamped onto him again. This time, Naruto recreated Yugito's seal and sealed Kurama away behind the gate again.
Kurama: Damn you… NARUTO!
Yugito: He sounds really upset.
Naruto: Just ignore him. Come on.
As Kurama roared in the background, Naruto touched Yugito on the forehead and she closed her eyes. When she opened them, the two were in a different area. There was thick orange, red, green and white mist all over and when she looked down, it looked like she was floating in midair even though she felt solid ground beneath. She was still in her Kyuubi Chakra Mōdo.
Yugito: Where are we?
Naruto: I've managed to find a peaceful place in your subconscious so we can talk. In other words, this is your "Happy Place".
Yugito: Whoa… Dad, you have no clue how much I've missed you.
Naruto: I know you've missed me. We both miss you.
Yugito: I just don't understand why… If you knew the Shiki Fūjin would kill you, why did you use it?
Naruto: It was the only sealing jutsu I've perfected. My father used it on me, so it was guaranteed to work. And since Kurama was freed from my body, I was going to die regardless.
Yugito: What do you mean?
Naruto: If a Bijū is freed from its Jinchūriki, then the Jinchūriki dies. And since I'm an Uzumaki, I was able to hold on for a little longer than a normal Jinchūriki would. So I managed to tame Kurama and seal him away before I died.
Yugito: Man… There was no way you could've lived through that night?
Naruto shook his head no. Yugito looked down and thought to herself. She looked sad in the eyes. Naruto put his hand on her shoulder.
Naruto: If I recall, you said you beat the Mizukage?
Yugito: Uh… yeah! With Hayate, Han Lee and Seiji's help, we managed to bring him down and put an end to the Fifth Great Ninja War!
Naruto: No way! You, Sakura's boy, Lee's boy and Tamiko's boy brought down the Mizukage?! That's unbelievable! How did you guys even get close to the village?
Yugito: We had Bee #2 and Midori use their Host Transformation and use their Bijū's to distract the villagers. That gave us enough time to beat him. But things started to go south and I was the last one standing out of the four of us. He almost drowned me in has really powerful Umiton (Ocean Style) Kekkei Genkai and that's when I met Kurama for the first time. He tried to trick me into unleashing him…
Naruto: He did the same thing during my battle against Pein… What happened?
Yugito: Well… I believed him. And right before I could rip off his seal, Mom appeared and slapped my hand. She stopped me and we got have a little talk.
Yugito was smiling.
Naruto: Ah. So you already got to see her, huh? I know you were shocked.
He smiled back at her.
Yugito: Yeah! She calmed me down and I managed to beat him. I'm a hero to the major nations!
Naruto: I knew you were gonna turn out to be a fine Kunoichi, but I never imagined you'd be able to bring down someone as strong as the Mizukage. You did great, and it was definitely something I would've done.
They smiled at each other. Just then, Naruto began fading away and his body seemed to be dematerializing.
Naruto: Oh no! My chakra must be almost up. That Rasengan we did together must've took more chakra than I thought…
Yugito: No… Dammit…
She closed her eyes and a tear formed in her left eye. It ran from her eye to the bottom of her cheek. She felt a hand on the left side of her face. She opened her eyes and Naruto was rubbing her cheek. He wiped the tear away.
Naruto: No matter what happens, just know that you've got your entire family inside of you.
He put his hand on the back of her head, leaned forward and put his forehead on hers; they connected headbands.
Naruto: We love you Yugito. We always will.
He fully disappeared. She looked at his dematerialized body fading away above her.
Yugito: I love you… Dad… Mom… Grandma and Grandpa… Everybody…

Author's Note: She beat Kurama and was able to see her Father one last time. Now that she has control over the Kyuubi's chakra, all she's got to do is master it! Aside from Yugito's great accomplishment, the Akatsuki has recruited Kabuto and he's going to be working on creating thousands of White Zetsu clones for the upcoming war!

The Rasengan exploded against Kurama, sending him sliding across the water. As he was sliding, he felt that something was being pulled. Yugito had six Sage clones and they were all pulling out his chakra and the Rasen Javelin's explosion forced him away.
Kurama: Urghh!
Yugito: PULL!
Kurama (thinking): That little-!
He began having flashbacks to his fight against Naruto.
Kurama (thinking): This power… Hrgh!
The explosion of the Rasen Javelin expired and he managed to stop himself. Just as Yugito was about to successfully pull out Kurama's chakra, she felt a strange sensation. It felt heavy… heavy with misery and despair. Her clones disappeared and she dropped to one knee.
Yugito: What… What is this… It's cold…
She blinked and one of her eyes turned from blue to red. Her Sage Mode had worn off as well.
Yugito: My-My head… It hurts…
The ground began shaking and once she looked up, Kurama was standing over her. Using his index finger and thumb, he picked her up by her shoulder blade length, red hair.
Yugito: Let me go!
He laughed at her.
Kurama: Ha, ha, HA! What you are feeling is my inner hatred. It proves to be too much for you to handle. Turns out you don't have as much heart of Naruto and the Fourth combined after all.
Yugito: I said let go!
She pulled a kunai out of her kunai pouch and cut her hair off. In one slash, she cut her hair to barely shoulder length. It was as short as Sakura's hair 27 years ago. She landed on the surface of the water on her back. She tried crawling back to gain distance and a chance to think.
Kurama: Stupid girl! It's over for you!
She looked back and saw that Kurama was about to stab her with his razor sharp nails. She curled into the fetal position. Moments before impact, she heard a grasping noise as if someone caught something very heavy. She slowly looked in front of her and all she could see where three things: spiky yellow hair, a black headband and an orange haori with black flame motifs on the edges. Kurama was shocked.
Kurama: You..?!
Yugito (thinking): There's no way… Is that…?
The man pushed Kurama's had away. He turned around to Yugito and held out a hand to her.
?: Hey, did you plan on laying there all day?
He gave her a smile. Her eyes grew wide.
Yugito: DAD!
Kurama (thinking): Naruto… But how?
She jumped up and hugged Naruto tightly and he hugged her back. As she hugged him, her eye went back to its normal blue. Naruto was in his Sage Mode.
Yugito: But Dad… how did you-?
Naruto: We'll talk in a bit. Right now, we've gotta deal with Kurama.
Yugito: Kurama? That's the Kyuubi's name?
Naruto: Oh yeah. I never told you his real name. Sorry about that.
Yugito: It's okay. Dad… how did you beat him?! He's too much.
Naruto: I needed my Mom's help to beat him. Seems like you can use my help.
Yugito: But I thought grandma…
Naruto: She is… and was back then. Dad was able to set it up to where whenever I confronted Kurama, she could come see me. He did that for me, and that's what I did for you so you could see your mother.
Yugito's eyes grew wide.
Yugito: That-That was you!? When I beat the Sixth Mizukage-
Naruto: You beat the Sixth Mizukage?!
Kurama roared and looked up. He began forming a large Bijūdama (Tailed Beast Ball).
Naruto: What the hell is he doing?! Kurama!
Naruto quickly did the "Bird" hand seal and then clap his hands together. Two enormous, red torii that clamped down onto the back of Kurama's neck and onto his back, immobilizing him. Once the torii seals clamped down on him, the Bijūdama disappeared. Nine more fell from the sky and clamped down onto all 9 of his tails. Naruto and Yugito walked up to him.
Naruto: Kurama, what the hell do you think you're doing? The size of that Bijūdama was enough to destroy a large village.
Kurama: I'm not going to lose to a little girl!
Naruto: She's not a little girl. She's my daughter. And if you intended on killing her, then I'll fight you right here and now.
Kurama was silence for a few moments.
Naruto: What's wrong with her controlling your power? I know you don't like being controlled, but you let me control it. So what's the difference between her and me?
Kurama: She isn't you! She'll never be you or anyone else in your family. She may look like Kushina, but she's a worm compared to her. I will not be controlled by someone so weak!
Naruto: You and I both know that power isn't everything. It's all about the will to defend those you love and everyone that depends on you.
Kurama: Who needs her to defend them?! She's too weak to save anyone!
Naruto: I can think of one.
Naruto looked back at her and smiled. She guessed he was talking about Hayate and she looked down and started blushing.
Naruto: Alright, Yugito. You have to do this part alone.
Yugito: Huh?
Naruto: Pull his chakra out. Once you do that, you've beaten him. I've already done the hard part.
Yugito: Okay…
She began walking towards Kurama.
Kurama: HRRRRGGHH!
Naruto and Yugito both flinched. Unimaginably, Kurama powered his way out of the torii seals, even freeing his trapped tails. He then used his nine tails as daggers and began trying to stab them with his tails. Yugito and Naruto both evaded successfully.
Naruto: How did he break free of the torii seals? Ah well. It doesn't matter.
Yugito closed her eyes and she entered her Sage mode again.
Naruto (thinking): She's mastered Sennin Mōdo…
She created a shadow clone and began forming a Rasengan in her right hand. Naruto created a shadow clone and began forming a Rasengan in his left hand as well.
Naruto: Alright, Yugito! Let's do this together!
Yugito: Okay!
They put the Rasengans close together and they began fusing together to make a rather large Rasengan. The two ran towards Kurama and leaped into the air together.
Kurama (thinking): A collaboration technique?
The two rained down a Rasengan the size of Pein's Chibaku Tensei and Kurama put his tails in front of it.
Naruto and Yugito: Senpō: Kyūkyoku Rasengan! (Sage Art: Ultimate Rasengan)
The gargantuan Rasengan collided with Kurama's tails. The Rasengan began overpowering the tails and when it detonated, it sent Kurama sliding back across the water again. Yugito had the clone she created to help with the Rasengan create a dozen Sage clones and pulled out a large portion of Kurama's chakra. Naruto and Yugito landed next to each other.
Her clones poofed away and the red chakra began flowing into her. Naruto looked to her and saw what was happening. Once the chakra fully went into her, she lit up in a bright orange-yellow cloak of chakra. She had six magatama beads around her neck and two very distinctive hair-like horns on the front of her hair along with a swirl design that greatly resembled the Uzumaki clan's symbol; not to mention her now short hair had changed to the same color of the chakra cloak. Her chakra shroud/cloak is also covered in various black lines and spiral patterns.
Naruto's face lit up in satisfaction as Yugito looked at her arms in disbelief.
Yugito: Dad, I look like you did with the Kyuubi's chakra around you!
Naruto: Yugito… You did it. You did it!
Naruto ran over to her and hugged her tightly and spun her around. He put her down and admired her chakra cloak. The resemblance to his cloak when he was alive was incredible. He heard Kurama recovering in the distance and looked back at him.
Naruto: You… Playtime is over.
Having his chakra ripped from him, Kurama looked anorexic. Naruto did the "Tiger", "Snake" and then held the "Bird" hand seal. An oversized torii seal rained down and clamped onto him again. This time, Naruto recreated Yugito's seal and sealed Kurama away behind the gate again.
Kurama: Damn you… NARUTO!
Yugito: He sounds really upset.
Naruto: Just ignore him. Come on.
As Kurama roared in the background, Naruto touched Yugito on the forehead and she closed her eyes. When she opened them, the two were in a different area. There was thick orange, red, green and white mist all over and when she looked down, it looked like she was floating in midair even though she felt solid ground beneath. She was still in her Kyuubi Chakra Mōdo.
Yugito: Where are we?
Naruto: I've managed to find a peaceful place in your subconscious so we can talk. In other words, this is your "Happy Place".
Yugito: Whoa… Dad, you have no clue how much I've missed you.
Naruto: I know you've missed me. We both miss you.
Yugito: I just don't understand why… If you knew the Shiki Fūjin would kill you, why did you use it?
Naruto: It was the only sealing jutsu I've perfected. My father used it on me, so it was guaranteed to work. And since Kurama was freed from my body, I was going to die regardless.
Yugito: What do you mean?
Naruto: If a Bijū is freed from its Jinchūriki, then the Jinchūriki dies. And since I'm an Uzumaki, I was able to hold on for a little longer than a normal Jinchūriki would. So I managed to tame Kurama and seal him away before I died.
Yugito: Man… There was no way you could've lived through that night?
Naruto shook his head no. Yugito looked down and thought to herself. She looked sad in the eyes. Naruto put his hand on her shoulder.
Naruto: If I recall, you said you beat the Mizukage?
Yugito: Uh… yeah! With Hayate, Han Lee and Seiji's help, we managed to bring him down and put an end to the Fifth Great Ninja War!
Naruto: No way! You, Sakura's boy, Lee's boy and Tamiko's boy brought down the Mizukage?! That's unbelievable! How did you guys even get close to the village?
Yugito: We had Bee #2 and Midori use their Host Transformation and use their Bijū's to distract the villagers. That gave us enough time to beat him. But things started to go south and I was the last one standing out of the four of us. He almost drowned me in has really powerful Umiton (Ocean Style) Kekkei Genkai and that's when I met Kurama for the first time. He tried to trick me into unleashing him…
Naruto: He did the same thing during my battle against Pein… What happened?
Yugito: Well… I believed him. And right before I could rip off his seal, Mom appeared and slapped my hand. She stopped me and we got have a little talk.
Yugito was smiling.
Naruto: Ah. So you already got to see her, huh? I know you were shocked.
He smiled back at her.
Yugito: Yeah! She calmed me down and I managed to beat him. I'm a hero to the major nations!
Naruto: I knew you were gonna turn out to be a fine Kunoichi, but I never imagined you'd be able to bring down someone as strong as the Mizukage. You did great, and it was definitely something I would've done.
They smiled at each other. Just then, Naruto began fading away and his body seemed to be dematerializing.
Naruto: Oh no! My chakra must be almost up. That Rasengan we did together must've took more chakra than I thought…
Yugito: No… Dammit…
She closed her eyes and a tear formed in her left eye. It ran from her eye to the bottom of her cheek. She felt a hand on the left side of her face. She opened her eyes and Naruto was rubbing her cheek. He wiped the tear away.
Naruto: No matter what happens, just know that you've got your entire family inside of you.
He put his hand on the back of her head, leaned forward and put his forehead on hers; they connected headbands.
Naruto: We love you Yugito. We always will.
He fully disappeared. She looked at his dematerialized body fading away above her.
Yugito: I love you… Dad… Mom… Grandma and Grandpa… Everybody…

Author's Note: She beat Kurama and was able to see her Father one last time. Now that she has control over the Kyuubi's chakra, all she's got to do is master it! Aside from Yugito's great accomplishment, the Akatsuki has recruited Kabuto and he's going to be working on creating thousands of White Zetsu clones for the upcoming war!
