Yugito Akkipuden Episode 32: Empty Heart

Author's Note: What's going to happen?! The emotionless Seiji is now facing six of his closest friends, but after killing Katashi, it seems as if their bond has been broken! Will Hayate, Shikoku and Asuka join their furious friends, or will they try to calm the situation?!
The ninja dog that was dashing through the forest with the scroll in his mouth was exiting yet another forest and came across two giant, green doors to a gate. It was the Konohagakure entrance. He quickly hurried into the village while looking left and right frantically. A Konoha Jounin stopped him.
Konoha Jounin: Whoa, hey, hey! Take it easy, pup. What's wrong boy?
The puppy dropped the scroll onto the ground and barked at it. The Jounin picked it up and scanned over it.
Konoha Jounin: What's this…? Hm?!
He closed it and quickly ran off. The ninken followed close behind him.
~The Land of Iron, Near the Five Kage Venue
Sakura was walking in front as Shikamaru and Sai were walking on either side of her. They were a few steps behind her, but made sure they stayed on either side. They had picked up a few of the warm, white cloaks from a town just outside of the Land of Iron because of the harsh weather. And just as they had predicted, it was snowing as usual. White rabbits and snow-tailed deer were scurrying around in the snow-covered forest around them.
Sai: We should be getting close.
Shikamaru: It should be this next turn left.
The three made the left and continued forward. Shikamaru looked at Sai and nudged his head towards Sakura.
Sai: You… haven't said anything in a while. Are you alright?
Sakura: Thank you, but I'm fine. I'm just gathering my thoughts and putting together what I'm going to say at this Summit. Sorry if I was distant.
Sai and Shikamaru looked at one another.
Sakura: There.
The two behind her looked forward. Just ahead was the Five Kage Summit Venue. It looks the exact same. Nothing's really changed about over the last 27 years. As they approached the Summit Venue, two samurai guards greeted them. The samurai guards had different armor. The armor was a light silver color instead of the typical grey. They have black trousers and a matching undershirt for warmth, considering their country's harsh weather; they still wear the same helmet. On the back of the armor was the symbol on each of the Five Kage's hats in a circle with the kanji for "samurai" in the center, showing their alliance and strong bond with all five major nations.
Samurai Guard 1: It's nice to see you again, Hokage-sama.
Samurai Guard 2: Please, come this way. The others have already arrived.
The two samurai turned and led them to the Venue. Outside of the place was quiet, no one was around.
Sakura: Where is everyone?
Samurai Guard 2: Everyone is already inside. You're a little like, Hokage-sama.
Sakura (thinking): Dammit… I hate being late to these! This is the second time!
Once the guards led them up the large amount of stairs to get to the front doors, they opened and behind the doors was Tōrei, the deceased Mifune's nephew. He was now the leader of the Samurai and has had this position for the last 15 years. Tōrei wasn't an elderly man like his uncle, Mifune. He was no older than 50 in appearance and had a moustache and small chin beard combo as facial hair. However, he did wear dark red and black samurai armor that resembled Mifune's.
Tōrei: Hello and welcome, Lady Hokage. Right this way.
As Tōrei led them, the two samurai guards stayed behind and stood outside, guarding the area. After going through several corridors and up several flights of stairs and no one saying a word the entire time, they came upon a right. After taking the right, Sakura saw that there was a room emitting light at the end of the hallway. Two more guards came from a hallway connected to theirs and asked the Sai and Shikamaru followed them. They looked at Sakura and she nodded to them. She continued straight with Tōrei to the room.
Upon entering the room, all of the other Kage's watched Sakura enter the room. She took off the white shroud she was wearing and revealed her pink haori with the dark interior. She took her seat next to Utada and Darui. (The table was set up like this: Sakura was at the peak of the half-oval table, Utada was to her right and Darui was to her left. To Darui's left was Mandō and to Utada's right was Ōtatsuchi. Tōrei was directly across from Sakura at his own separate table.)
Tōrei: Now that everyone is present, let the Summit commence!
Darui: I'll say something first, if everyone doesn't mind.
Everyone gave him the floor and was silent.
Darui: Kazekage Utada, you are young just like your father was when he went to his first Summit. If you have something to say, don't be afraid to speak your mind. Speaking his mind was one of the main things Gaara was good at. You've got a voice just like the rest of us do.
Utada nodded to him.
Utada: Thank you… Raikage-sama.
Darui: Anytime. Now as for you two…
He looked at Mandō and Ōtatsuchi.
Darui: I understand that you two are new Kages… But if you turn out to be anything like your most recent predecessor, the Allied Shinobi Forces won't hesitate to kill you both. I'll do whatever it takes to keep the five major nations united. If either of you do anything to jeopardize our alliance, I'll kill you myself.
Darui had a very serious expression on his face. The Mizukage and Tsuchikage looked at one another.
Darui: Do not take me the wrong way. I'm not a violent man by any means, but I will do whatever it takes to defend this alliance that took decades to build. If I were to look at you both and give you a judgment based on appearance, I'd guess you were a couple of fair individuals. But as proved in the recent years, looks can be deceiving. So I'm not trying to threaten or intimidate either of you, I'm just letting you know how it is.
Mandō rested his elbows on the table. He was wear a pair of black gloves that hair a very light blue fog emitting from them.
Mandō: Raikage-dono, I understand and respect the way you feel and I understand and respect everything you're saying. But you'll never have to worry about the Kirigakure as a threat ever again. My goal for the village is to bring it out of the turmoil it has been in for nearly a decade, not put it further under. The villagers and the village elders selected me as Shichidaime Mizukage because I am a great leader, I have military and financial experience, and I'm a strong Shinobi. As my title as Kage and my nickname as "The Frozen Kage", I'll never betray this Shinobi Alliance. You have my word.
Darui sat back in his chair and nodded several times in approval. Sakura and Gaara also looked as if they believed him.
Ōtatsuchi: If I may say something as well.
Everyone looked to her.
Ōtatsuchi: As a little girl, I remember meeting Tsuchikage Ōnoki. He was a grouchy old man, but one thing you can never take away from him was his big heart. He took care of me and my younger sister after my mother passed away due to a fatal heart illness. I never met my dad, but he did take care of us like we were his own.
Kurotsuchi (thinking): What?! She knew Grandpa personally?!
Rōki (whispering to her): What's wrong?
Kurotsuchi looked at him and back to the meeting. The bodyguards were hiding in the walls behind their respective nation's curtain, just like any other Gokage Summit.
Ōtatsuchi: He was an extremely caring person, even though he didn't seem like it, and fought for what he believed in. I'd like to think of myself as a part of him. As long as I can breathe God's air, you'll never have to worry about me or my village betraying the alliance. I agreed with Raikage-dono that I will kill anyone that opposes this alliance that took so many years to construct. You have my word as "The Steel Princess" that I will defend the five major nations with my life!
Sakura and Darui looked at one another and nodded in approval to her words. Mandō sat back in his seat and smiled at her while Utada sat quietly.
~Konohagakure Forest, Gathering Spot of the Konoha 12
Seiji was still clad in his Raiton no Yoroi and he still had that same dark, emotionless face. Kenta was in his Super Expansion Jutsu and blue butterfly wings made out of chakra sprouted from his back.
Kenta: Let's get him!
Hitomi: Don't get reckless.
Before they could move, Seiji did a serious of hand seals and touched the ground. He passed lightning through the grass. The twin headed wolf, Kenta, Han Lee, Kota, Toshiro and his insect summon and even Hitomi felt the full effects of the lightning. Hayate grabbed Asuka and jumped back to the trees, Shikoku followed. The lightning was extremely intense; it lit the whole area in a bright blue color. All Asuka, Hayate and Shikoku could do was watch.
Han Lee: Ah!
Kota: Ahhaa!
Hitomi (screaming): Ahh!
Toshiro: Urgh-ah!
Kenta: Gah-ahhh!
The giant two headed wolf growled in pain and so did Toshiro's giant Kidaichū.
Hayate (thinking): What?! Passing lightning through solid ground? He's never used this technique before!
Asuka: We have to help them! They're dying!
Hayate looked at her and then back at their friends. He quickly did the "Tiger" hand seal.
Hayate: Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu! (Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu)
He exhaled a fireball that morphed into a dragon head-shaped fireball. Seiji removed his hand from the ground and jumped back to evade Hayate's technique. The flaming dragon head collided with the ground and a fiery explosion occurred. Flames spread across the nearby trees, setting the leaves and some of the tree trunks ablaze. Their friends that were suffering from Seiji's lightning dropped to the ground, each of them unconscious. Lee had exited the Hachimon and Hitomi's Twin Lion Fists disappeared. The twin headed wolf disappeared in a cloud a smoke and Izumi and Kiyoshi took its place. Toshiro's Kidaichū poofed away and Kenta returned to normal size. Even Kota's Bashōsen and scythe disappeared. They were all laying lifelessly on the grass.
Hayate: Let's go. We have to stop him.
Shikoku: Yeah.
Hayate looked at Asuka and saw that she was feeling uneasy. Her eyes were watery because she was torn inside. The boy she loved killed her only living relative and may have just killed six of her best friends. She doesn't want to fight him, but she also wants him to stop hurting everyone they care about.
Hayate: Asuka-chan…
Asuka: We… We have to stop him.
She leaped down from the tree they were in and dashed for Seiji.
Hayate: Wait! Asuka!
While dashing towards Seiji, she did the hand seals "Dog", "Boar", "Tiger", "Ox", "Rat" and "Bird" in that order. After doing the hand seals, she jumped into the air.
Asuka: Yōton! (Lava Style)
She spit a massive amount of lava from her mouth and it spread into a broad, thin sheet of lava. It casted a very large shadow over Seiji.
Asuka: Yōkai no Jutsu! (Lava Monster Jutsu)
She landed on the ground and watched as her technique covered the area Seiji was standing in. It plopped onto the ground, melting the grass and any trees it touched in the process. Knowing she missed, she frantically looked around the area for Seiji. Without warning, she felt a hand grab her by the throat. The hand had a strong grip on her eso****us and raised her up a full 12 inches about the ground. She angled her eyes down and saw that Seiji had grabbed her. As she choked and struggled to breathe, Seiji just stared at her with those same emotionless, dark eyes. She stared into his eyes and he stared into hers.
Asuka: Seiji-kun… I know you're in there somewhere. Please… you have to fight whatever trance you're in. I know you can hear me! Please!
He didn't hear a word she said. He simply clinched her throat tighter and began passing lightning through her, shocking her vigorously. She began screaming out uncontrollably and shaking hysterically due to the intense lightning. As she was being shocked, Seiji just continued to stare her in the face and watch her scream.
Hayate: Hrrughh!
Seiji looked to his right and saw that Hayate was dashing after him. He ceased shocking Asuka and tossed her, by her throat, a solid 20 meters away. She slid across the grass and when she came to a stop, she laid motionlessly on the ground. Knowing Hayate's strength, Seiji increased the power of his Raiton no Yoroi, vamping up his speed, reaction time, and strength. Seiji's hair spiked up in the back, much like Raikage Ei's hair use to do when he pushed his Raiton no Yoroi to its limit. The only difference between the two as far as appearance, Seiji's physique didn't dramatically increase.
Hayate was still dashing at him, but then jumping into the air and did a front flip. He used the front flip to gain momentum and held out his right leg as if her were about to deliver a leg drop.
Hayate (thinking): I don't know what's gotten into you, but I'll beat it out!
Seiji was unshaken, staring at Hayate as he prepared to attack. Hayate brought his attack down.
Hayate: Tsūtenkyaku! (Heaven Kick of Pain)
Seiji used his arms and made an "X" above his head. Hayate's leg connected to Seiji's arms and the ground beneath them crumbled instantly. The force from Hayate's Chakra Enhanced Strength created a deep crater around them and sent a shockwave through the ground. The two made eye contact but Hayate didn't have time to utter word. Seiji threw Hayate's leg off of his arms and then jumped back several meters. Through the giant dust cloud the attack created, Hayate once again darted for Seiji. This time, Seiji created a Raikiri in his right hand.
Just as he began to dash at Hayate, he noticed his legs wouldn't move. Seiji looked down and noticed that his shadow was attached to a long shadow. He followed the shadow all the way to the trees and saw Shikoku smiling and hanging upside down while holding the "Rat" hand seal.
Shikoku (thinking): Kagemane no Jutsu, success! (Shadow Possession Jutsu)
He suddenly looked forward again and to his surprise, a fist connected with his face. He was sent into the forest, colliding and flying through several trees in the process. Hayate looked over to the forest, saw Shikoku, and gave him a nod in approval. Shikoku released the hand seal and gave him a two fingered salute.
~Outside of the Konohagakure
Aijō was in a wooded area near the Konohagakure. It was sort of a wide trail that was covered in grass and surrounded by trees. She was simply walking through the trail undetected, thanks to her ability to suppress her chakra, making it impossible for any sensory-type Shinobi to detect her. She got close enough to the village that she could see the gate over the trees.
Aijō: I suppose now is the time.
While standing in place, she quickly did the "Ox" and "Tiger" hand seals.
Aijō: Kōton: Kōton Bunshin. (Steel Style: Steel Clones)
She aimed her sleeves in front of her and out came piles of liquefied, dark grey steel. She made 8 piles of steel and they began morphing and growing in height. After a few seconds, they had morphed into exact copies of Aijō.
Aijō: Now, let us retrieve our targets.
The clones then dashed off in different directions towards the village.
~Yugito, Bee and Midori
The three were still on the boat and were headed towards the Island Turtle. Bee was rowing and rapping to himself. Bee had on his "Action Shades".
Author's Note: Bee #2's "Action Shades" are the same shades that Killer Bee had, but they're a little different. He wore these shades in his fight against Kota in the Preliminary Rounds of the Chūnin Exams when they were kids once Kota insulted his skills.
Bee (rapping): Takin' it easy on the boat of life, tryin' to avoid a lifelong strife. Fightin' to the end yo, that's the only way to win, bakayaro.
Midori: Bee Number Two, is any way that you can sing in your head?
Bee: I'm not singin', Midori-chan. Those are rap lyrics from the heart, son.
Midori: Well can you keep your rap lyrics to yourself?
Bee: I'll do my best, yo. Just know, you can never keep the Bee quiet for too long! Fo' show!
Midori slapped her forehead and sighed; Yugito giggled at them.
Yugito: *gasp* Is that it?
Midori and Bee looked ahead to see that the Island Turtle was in sight. It didn't look any different, aside from the fact that is it a tad larger.
Midori: Alrighty, there it is Yugito-chan. You ready to start your training?
Yugito: Yeah! I sure am!
Bee: That's what I like to hear! That definitely sounds sincere!
Yugito (thinking): Dammit… I'm so nervous I could throw up right now…
Midori: Let's not waste time. Bee, you know where we're going to first.
Bee: Hells yeah!
Yugito (thinking): Oh boy…

She landed on the ground and watched as her technique covered the area Seiji was standing in. It plopped onto the ground, melting the grass and any trees it touched in the process. Knowing she missed, she frantically looked around the area for Seiji. Without warning, she felt a hand grab her by the throat. The hand had a strong grip on her eso****us and raised her up a full 12 inches about the ground. She angled her eyes down and saw that Seiji had grabbed her. As she choked and struggled to breathe, Seiji just stared at her with those same emotionless, dark eyes. She stared into his eyes and he stared into hers.
Asuka: Seiji-kun… I know you're in there somewhere. Please… you have to fight whatever trance you're in. I know you can hear me! Please!
He didn't hear a word she said. He simply clinched her throat tighter and began passing lightning through her, shocking her vigorously. She began screaming out uncontrollably and shaking hysterically due to the intense lightning. As she was being shocked, Seiji just continued to stare her in the face and watch her scream.
Hayate: Hrrughh!
Seiji looked to his right and saw that Hayate was dashing after him. He ceased shocking Asuka and tossed her, by her throat, a solid 20 meters away. She slid across the grass and when she came to a stop, she laid motionlessly on the ground. Knowing Hayate's strength, Seiji increased the power of his Raiton no Yoroi, vamping up his speed, reaction time, and strength. Seiji's hair spiked up in the back, much like Raikage Ei's hair use to do when he pushed his Raiton no Yoroi to its limit. The only difference between the two as far as appearance, Seiji's physique didn't dramatically increase.
Hayate was still dashing at him, but then jumping into the air and did a front flip. He used the front flip to gain momentum and held out his right leg as if her were about to deliver a leg drop.
Hayate (thinking): I don't know what's gotten into you, but I'll beat it out!
Seiji was unshaken, staring at Hayate as he prepared to attack. Hayate brought his attack down.
Hayate: Tsūtenkyaku! (Heaven Kick of Pain)
Seiji used his arms and made an "X" above his head. Hayate's leg connected to Seiji's arms and the ground beneath them crumbled instantly. The force from Hayate's Chakra Enhanced Strength created a deep crater around them and sent a shockwave through the ground. The two made eye contact but Hayate didn't have time to utter word. Seiji threw Hayate's leg off of his arms and then jumped back several meters. Through the giant dust cloud the attack created, Hayate once again darted for Seiji. This time, Seiji created a Raikiri in his right hand.
Just as he began to dash at Hayate, he noticed his legs wouldn't move. Seiji looked down and noticed that his shadow was attached to a long shadow. He followed the shadow all the way to the trees and saw Shikoku smiling and hanging upside down while holding the "Rat" hand seal.
Shikoku (thinking): Kagemane no Jutsu, success! (Shadow Possession Jutsu)
He suddenly looked forward again and to his surprise, a fist connected with his face. He was sent into the forest, colliding and flying through several trees in the process. Hayate looked over to the forest, saw Shikoku, and gave him a nod in approval. Shikoku released the hand seal and gave him a two fingered salute.
~Outside of the Konohagakure
Aijō was in a wooded area near the Konohagakure. It was sort of a wide trail that was covered in grass and surrounded by trees. She was simply walking through the trail undetected, thanks to her ability to suppress her chakra, making it impossible for any sensory-type Shinobi to detect her. She got close enough to the village that she could see the gate over the trees.
Aijō: I suppose now is the time.
While standing in place, she quickly did the "Ox" and "Tiger" hand seals.
Aijō: Kōton: Kōton Bunshin. (Steel Style: Steel Clones)
She aimed her sleeves in front of her and out came piles of liquefied, dark grey steel. She made 8 piles of steel and they began morphing and growing in height. After a few seconds, they had morphed into exact copies of Aijō.
Aijō: Now, let us retrieve our targets.
The clones then dashed off in different directions towards the village.
~Yugito, Bee and Midori
The three were still on the boat and were headed towards the Island Turtle. Bee was rowing and rapping to himself. Bee had on his "Action Shades".
Author's Note: Bee #2's "Action Shades" are the same shades that Killer Bee had, but they're a little different. He wore these shades in his fight against Kota in the Preliminary Rounds of the Chūnin Exams when they were kids once Kota insulted his skills.
Bee (rapping): Takin' it easy on the boat of life, tryin' to avoid a lifelong strife. Fightin' to the end yo, that's the only way to win, bakayaro.
Midori: Bee Number Two, is any way that you can sing in your head?
Bee: I'm not singin', Midori-chan. Those are rap lyrics from the heart, son.
Midori: Well can you keep your rap lyrics to yourself?
Bee: I'll do my best, yo. Just know, you can never keep the Bee quiet for too long! Fo' show!
Midori slapped her forehead and sighed; Yugito giggled at them.
Yugito: *gasp* Is that it?
Midori and Bee looked ahead to see that the Island Turtle was in sight. It didn't look any different, aside from the fact that is it a tad larger.
Midori: Alrighty, there it is Yugito-chan. You ready to start your training?
Yugito: Yeah! I sure am!
Bee: That's what I like to hear! That definitely sounds sincere!
Yugito (thinking): Dammit… I'm so nervous I could throw up right now…
Midori: Let's not waste time. Bee, you know where we're going to first.
Bee: Hells yeah!
Yugito (thinking): Oh boy…
