Principal Akihiro.... I've seen this man about as much times as I've seen my own face. His office is basically my own room since I'm in here everyday. Every once in a while he calls my mom in and I have to explain why I got into a fight. Then I get suspended and I go back home and I basically stay in my room until I have to go back to school. She cries and wonders what she's doing wrong and then she yells at me. Only if my damn class mates wouldnt aggervate me so much then I wouldnt be getting into so many fights here. I wonder if all high schools are like this....i mean it's not like...
Principal Akihiro: Stop your daydreaming Kenji! Your mother will be here shortly and you may tell her exactly why you fought Daichi!
Kenji: *sigh* Come on Principal why are you calling her in this time, are fight wasnt even that drastic.
Principal Akihiro: That may be so Kenji, but this time instead of you explaining yourself, she told e the next time you screw up she wants a direct phone call so she can make a difference and make a stop to your behavior.
Kenji: My behavior is fine I'm a descent student, I dont disrupt class on occasions and i dont even sleep in class anymore.
Principal Akihiro: Fighting a student while the teacher's back is turned is showing off bad behavior Kenji. You dont have any say in this and at this point neither do I. Your mother has all the say in this, if the rest of the staff disagrees with her decision you will be expelled immediately.
*Mother walk's in*
Mom: Kenji I dont know what is wrong with you. Ever since your father has passed all you ever do is ignore everyone and get into fights at school. Your my son and i love you. But their needs to be a change. I cant keep doing this anymore. Your going to be living with your sister. Your leaving tonight and im packing all your things. Maybe she can make a difference in your life and change you back to the way you once were.
Kenji: But mom you dont even understand what happend this time!
Mom: I dont care! You need to leave and get your life together!
Kenji got up and left the office and slammed the door. He got on a bus back to his house. Kenji then saw bags on his apartment door step. He picked them up and looked inside and saw all of his things, along with a bus ticket. He walked to the bus station and sat in his seat for his 5 hour bus ride.
Kenji (thoughts): Hmph.... get my life together. She doesnt even know what happened. What does she mean I changed?? Doesnt she realize how all these people act anymore? how annoying everyone is and how people just leave? This wasnt my fault. I didnt do anything. Now when I get to Kazumi's house everything will be better anyway. Maybe the school their will be better. People arent as annoying and aggervating.
*Bus's final stop, Amori Town*
Kenji started walking off the bus, only to see his sister waiting with an angry expression on her face.
Kazumi: Take off your hood.
Right when Kenji took his hood off, she slapped Kenji right across the face.
Kazumi: What is the matter with you?! you just left even without telling our mother goodbye?! What is your problem? That isnt a highschool problem or anything that was your mother she deserved at least a goodbye!
Kenji: I dont need this and I dont need you! Im getting out of here.
Kazumi: Kenji wait! I'm sorry but you need to stop acting like this. We all miss how you once were. Lets just get out of here and go home.
They started walking up to a shop. They went to the back where their was stairs and up to an apartment. The apartment door was unlocked and they both went inside. Kenji looked around and saw paintings and easel's everywhere. And stack's of cards in a closet.
Kenji: You actually became an artist. But why do you have these stack's of cards?
Kazumi: Dont you listen to me when I come and visit? I've told you and mom both that I was hired by Maxi-million Pegasus at Industrial Illusion's to make duel monster's cards. It's always been my life's dream to make it this big!
Kenji: I've never heard of him.
Kazumi: What?! O.O how can you be a 17 year old and not know who that man is?! he's the richest man in the world! and the creator of duel monsters!
Kenji:.... I dont know what duel monster's is
Kazumi: I cant believe you dont know what that is! It's only the biggest game in the world! Im not much of a duelist myself but atleast I know how to play the game!
Kenji: That's very interesting and all...but where am I going to be sleeping?
Kazumi: Right in their, Ive made you your bed and you can set up what you want in the bathroom.
Kenji: Thank you. Good night.
Kazumi watched as Kenji went into his room and shut the door. Kazumi like her mother is worried about Kenji. She thinks that he needs a direction in life and her mother trusted her with this task. She went into her room and wonder'ed.
What is something that can turn Kenji into him old self again and turn his life around.
Kazumi then looked over and saw her latest duel monster creation on the table and saw the certificate of approval by Pegasus himself and she then realized the greatest thing in her life was making cards, but what if Kenji could use them? What if Kenji could become a duelist?! Kazumi got off her bed and opened her closet door.Opened up her lap top and researched her work of drawings.
Kazumi: Tonight I'm going to complete these cards. Then once I do Kenji will begin his new life as a duelist.
Kenji was asleep in his bed, he woke up from a light coming from under his bed. He brushed his eye's and got up and knelt down to see what it was.
He noticed it was one of Kazumi's card's glowing with light and he heard a voice speak to him.
