Yugioh, Dead or Alive?

Im not sure if anyone will post to this but I just have to ask...
Do you find the Yugioh TCG becomming less and less about skill and more about how much money your willing to put into ur deck?
Please feel free to give you thoughts on the gameplay and any other thing you might wanna add...

yeah, i unfortunately agree, in the times that the best monsters were rituals and some fusions (i mean even before GX series) it was ALL about the skill, but now what matters are things like how strong synchros you got

I know... it's insane how over powered some of the synchros monsters are! I thought things were bad when Dark Arm Dragon was running a muck, but now I wish they would bring back some of the great bannd cards like Exchange of the Spirt, or 1000 Eyes Restrick...

Yes people still play Yugioh TCG, there's tournaments held all over the world, with big prize money and everything...
It use to be a real game of skill now its I spent $200 and used a templete of the internet...

The anime did die after GX, but the card game was going on strong untill last year...

Really? I quit the card game a couple years ago. Mainly due the anime.

I still play all video games pre 5ds.

I think the new cards and such set me away.

I dislike the new era of Yugioh also... mainly because there no more skill involed in the game.... I remember when Yugioh was about getting into you opponets head and beating them in a battle of wit and deception...

Once again, I asked for no trolling, but since you have... 1st I never said i liked it, I use to like it before it got all outta hand (It was outta hand to begain with but now it just insane). 2nd You didnt even spell Yugioh right... I dont play the game any more but sumtime I catch the Anime(5D's) on tv and I think to my self: Damn I miss the old days... and WTF am I watching???

i loved the game back when the Chaos deck was at the top with all the old classics XD XD

stopped playing about a year after the cyber dragons came out and havent followed it since then because the new sh?t overshadowed the old top and rarest cards

What? I found 5Ds to be the best of the whole series. The futuristic touch, the synchros and more advanced storyline. After the Original, this one was the best.
GX was complete bullSH!*. It had no plot at all and repeatingly based on those lame fusion monsters.
5Ds tried to bring the boat upwards a bit and Zexal is gonna sink it once more. 5Ds is the last Yu-Gi-Oh and it's sad since I had a fab. adventure of around 10 years with it...

I have so many decks and cards though (so long that I didn't play)..I have around 10000+ cards, I think if not more (around 25+ decks made of them and the rest remaining like that). All are stacked in boxes and a travel bag.

this game has always been about how much money you put into your deck there were smart ways to go about it thought like weighing packs with a digi scale (I did this) For holos. Some people think it was a rip off that I did it but in a game like ygo and pkm kma. Before I stopped buying packs I seriously put over 500 into this game and it never stops, they just released crow booster packs mehh... I'll just buy the game sell the cards and play the game with my friend(s) via wifi.

that junk warrior B.S is beyond ridiculous. and the synchro systems makes no sense to me, so yeah, Yu-Gi-Oh! is dead.
