I only like the first & original series, not fan of the rest. So Good news for me, thanks for sharing.

Np dude. If I see updates I'll share. Btw if you like the original you may like the 10th anniversary special called Super Fusion! Bonds that transcend Time! It's a episode in wich protagonists of the first 3 series (Yami Yugi from the original, Judai from GX and Yusei from 5D's) come together to fight a fierce opponet. Best part is that it's canon so it's an epic dream team.

They should go back to their roots, when yugioh was really popular and simple. Not that I'm stuck in the past, I just lost interest with all the new weird fusions and bullcrap, and I know I'm not the only one.

Well that's not really a good idea. Ofcourse the new series have declined quality-vise and it would have been better if they kept the dark theme from the original instead of going to kids demographic but the game itself is fine. It's a good thing that it became advanced and YGO nowadays is better than the YGO when it came out. Indeed competitive play is fast and not so much fun as all the tier cards are totally broken but then again competitive play has always been a bummer, even in the old age when all wisdom was getting as many 1800 ATK beaters out and beat the opponet up. However, when it comes to the traditional fun aspect of playing the game non-competitively YGO is brilliant. All sorts of deck types give the game incredible amount of variety and I have literally been playing it for 10 years and there are still a lot of deck ideas wich I have never came across. The game is brilliant. The problem lays in the anime becoming less interesting.

Finally an Original Yugioh that is worthwhile

Try Bonds Beyond Time. It's a cool movie that features Yugi along with Judai and Yusei in action. Here's the link to HD:

Glad you liked it. Arc - V isn't really terrible either. It and ZEXAL are what YGO became after changing from Teen Rated to Kids.

Back in the old days playing yugioh was popular thanks to its simplicity, I don't know about everyone else but me personally I completely lost interest when they started changing the rules and making the cards more complex etc. Playing old school was all about who lost all the life points the fastest, people would go all out attacking using monster reborn cyber jar and all those cards and it was fun, but nowadays you need x card to use this card to use that card to do this if you have that then this and that, it's too much hassle.

Actually I'm not sure if we'll see Yami as in the poster Yugi isn't wearing his Millenium Puzzle so we could have an original story set after the series end that could focus on duel between Yugi and Kaiba. However the official site stated Kaiba and Yami will have a clash so who knows really. I just want it to be better than Pyramid of Light.

Also you might be happy to hear this but the original series is to be remastered (or atleast some parts of it) so we may get to see Bakura and Marik episodes with higher quality of animation!

SLIGHT UPDATE

We got news on the remastered version of the original series. It appears we'll get the first 2 arcs remastered (Duelist Kingdom and Battle City). It appears to be set to air in February.
